Paul, Maida Vale, BBC 6 Music & Radio 2: 16th Oct 2013
-
ahhh sorry Frankie ops: xx
-
Paul's people are so full of cr*p! They've now ran two Twitter competitions which should have had 21 winners, they've only announced 9!! "Paul?s playing @BBC6Music #6musiclive on Wednesday, October 16. RT to win a pair of tickets http://bbc.in/6musiclive #whatsnew" They didn't bother announcing a winner despite 496 entrants at last count... "We have 10 pairs of tickets to see Paul perform on @BBC6Music and 10 pairs of tickets to see him play for @BBCRadio2 both on Wednesday..." They announced 9 winners, even though they supposedly had 20 pairs of tickets? What gives?
-
Glad some of you got tickets! (I got the disappointing email too ) Make sure you winners post all your photos and videos of the day!!! When is the show on the radio?

I didn't get that at all either. Nine winners announced and 2o pairs of tickets?? Also was there ever a reply from the Radio 6 retweet? Clung to my phone at 8.15 this morning, no joy there either. Very sad...

Nope they didn't reply to the Radio 6 retweet and like you say only announced 9 winners for 20 pairs of tickets. Seems like they're just making it up as they go along. I tweeted twice to ask what is going on but seemingly they're just forgetting about it. Sad indeed. Pathetic way to treat fans IMO. Well done to anyone that did secure tickets though!
-
I can't complain, as I was lucky enough to be one of the Twitter winners. I was very excited when the tweet came through; I'm not a one for winning competitions. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes. I'm in for the Radio 2 session.

Have a brilliant time, well done! It will feel so intimate, what a great memory. Send him a kiss from me

I assume the stream on http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03d5dtc will only be available in the UK? Somebody put it on YouTube pretty please.

I've just loaded that player. I'll see how well it works; playing something else right now. Almost 6 am here on the east coast USA.

Live-stream cancelled...
This week we've been running live streams from BBC Radio 6Music's Live from Maida Vale series ? with Poliça and Goldfrapp so far. We were scheduled to be streaming Paul McCartney's set this morning at 11.05am. Unfortunately, owing to issues beyond our control, we are unable to carry today's stream. However, stay tuned! Because we will have highlights from today's show later on, and we will be streaming the remaining shows in the series ? by Manic Street Preachers and Sigur Rós. We extend our apologies to you all.
