Just went to Target's the day before yesterday, and much to my surprise, they were selling all Beatles albums, which a lot of them were remasters. Well, one thing lead to another... The next thing I knew, I had added 14 items to the cart...hey it was the 14th I reasoned, so it was a go. There was a 1964 Beatles visit to the US mug and I nabbed a Beatles T shirt as well! Luckily I got the very last of number of the CD's. There were also a number of Parlephone albums too! Now the next best part! I get to the register...and the lady scans my Beatles T-shirt and mug and says shes giving me a $5.00 gift card for the Beatles items!! After which I quickly informed her, that there were quite a few more Beatles items. She gave me a $5.00 gift card, for each two Beatles items purchased... So I walked out of Target with 7 gift cards!! Wow, how great was that?!

standard 12 track edition of New for my car and an upcoming road trip.

I picked up Abbey Road (Apple) and Rubber Soul (Apple/Parlophone) today at Target and got a $5 gift card for these two purchases. Also got Target's deluxe version of New with the extra DVD which I enjoyed watching. I have the Best Buy deluxe edition too. Is there any reason for me to buy the standard edition? Also got the "Paul is Live" DVD in the mail today as well as the U.K. version of "Press To Play" with 13 tracks.

Found a great price on the Archive Collection Deluxe sets of McCartney and McCartney 2. Those make the last two I needed before this year's releases. Didn't think I was going to collect the deluxe editions, but after buying the WOA boxed set, I have been watching for deals on the others.

got a phone call on the bus from my McCartney/Beatles hating husband... Husband- I'm out on my lunch hour and at the charity shop. There is Paul McCartney Greatest Hits Vinyl...a £1.99 Copy of 'Band on The Run' and a £3.99 copy.... Me: Which one is scratched or which one has a poster in it? Husband: ...Wings Over America vinyl... Me: Can you tell why one is more expensive? Husband: uh, I'll check tomorrow (..yeah, I'm getting the £3.99 one with the poster )

My wife isn't very Beatle/Macca friendly either which is a bit ironic being she's English...maybe we can get them together

Well, it seems that even though my husband owns the red and blue Beatles CDs, he'd rather eat glass than listen to them. Yet, the copy of Band on the Run he found was in VG condition, labels and poster VG as well. At least I can get him to look out for all the endless stuff I'm trying to buy...it's "real love", et al. when a parter will do that when they would rather not!

Ordered the DVD for "In the World Tonight" today. Trying to complete my collection of Paul's DVD releases.
