Paul's work with Kanye
-
Kanye West is a celebrity (or what passes for one these days), that is, rude, obnoxious, disrespectful, grandstanding, blinged out, loud and pretty much talentless. He fits all the criteria to be successful. Am I surprised? No. Do I think he's a piece of human flotsam? Absolutely. Along with Donald Trump, that is two of the most punchable heads in a long time.

Kanye West is the Donald Trump of music. Or is Donald Trump the Kanye West of politics? I can't decide.

Mr K remains a d*ick. Declares (in a large forum!) he is $53m in debt and then asks for money?... what the?.... also makes his Bill Cosby comments (just to be divisive? for publicity?).... What a complete knob.... he's got money coming out of his ears and everyone knows it..... And don't anyone get fooled with his sham showbiz marriage.... contracts tend to have a start and end date.... from an artistic P.O.V. if I ever heard one of his songs that sounded good I'd admit it... but, alas, still haven't heard it.... a lot of artists I have not liked as personas, but I could admit it if they did have some decent songs... the same cannot be said for Mr. K.... he's a riddle parading as one massive jerk... oops, I mean, joke.... come to think of it, yeah.... jerk... and a joke.... jerk... joke... he's very, very fast losing the patience of his contemporaries.... I cannot open a door these days without his face appearing on the knob.
Loved Taylor Swift's answer to his disgusting lyric about her in acceptance speech. Makes me wonder where NOW is and why they are not supporting her against this type of thing. BTW - going to ask Mr. McCartney a question about his buddy the next time fans can submit a question to him. You think it would be published - LOL !!!!!!
As much chance as me getting a "hello" from Jessica Alba!!

^ Why can't he get money from his own family?
Do you mean that waste of space lot the Kardashians? After the sex with Taylor Swift lyric perhaps he may be paying out big time to Kim in divorce settlement.
The biggest blow to Mr K's ego might be if Kim has to pay him in the divorce settlement!.... mind you, I am sure all necessary contractual settlements were placed some time back.... not sure which Nanny gets the kids, however.... that could be the bigger lawsuit.....

You do realise that excuse for hair, if it ain't a wig, is merely there to hide the "666" tattooed on his scalp?

Well, I would just say there is precedent for dissing Paul after working with him. How about John's Rolling Stone interview in 1970, or "How Do You Sleep?" on the Imagine album? Fans didn't get pissed at John; they loved him for it, and it became one of his most popular albums! But of course Paul was seen as the punching bag and a-hole in those days by a lot of people... so maybe he can kind of relate to Kanye's situation. By the way, I'm sure you've heard about Paul getting turned away from that party after the Grammys? It turns out that it was the fire marshal keeping him and Beck out because the venue had reached its fire code capacity. The host and performer Tyga knew nothing about what was happening, but he has even apologized for it. Actually, Jimmy Kimmel is the one who's a bit disrespectful here (not that I'm upset, but it was a bit jarring): http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/entertainthis/2016/02/17/why-paul-mccartney-couldnt-get-in-to-the-tyga-party/80493620/ I have a feeling Kanye is going to regret that comment about white writers writing about black music, or he'll take it back somehow.

I've heard a different story about why Paul got turned away. But still...it's PaulfreakinMccartney! I read that he went there in search of Mark Ronson & he wasn't there. So who knows exactly what happened or what was said.

I heard someone say "Mark Ronson?" during the video. But the reason he got turned away probably was because the room was at capacity.

Still, they could have let him in. Don't they know he's the Fireman?

I wonder if Paul has a standard line to use when people ask him for money.
