Gina, I think that is you posting on the Consol Energy Center facebook page, I hope so because that Brian guy is a ticket broker and was the one who told me on Saturday that the announcements were going to be Lady Gaga and Christina Aguleria. Well he said McCartney is in fact coming, but it just hasn't been released it. I seriously do believe this guy.
That's me! I thought that was you too! Yeah, this guy knows his stuff! At first I thought he was just some young guy wanting Gaga in town, but now I see he's a reliable source who knows his stuff about the touring industry! I also saw what he wrote about McCartney coming and was ecstatic! I believe this guy..plus the timing, the Philly rumors, and everything just seem to make sense. Hopefully Andre Gardner is right about the "BIG announcement" coming this week from the McCartney camp. I really think we'll have this confirmed soon.
If Andre Gardner is right and Paul announces the Philly date sometime this week, then you would think the Pittsburgh date wouldn't be far off (if its really happening).
I really predict a handful of shows announced at once..Philly and Pittsburgh both included. That is, if Philly is definite, I think Pittsburgh is happening.
I hope you're right!!!!!

If the Pittsburgh show was going to be announced at the same time, wouldn't the consol arena have something posted like they have been doing? Look for an announcement, etc?
True.. but they haven't been doing that for every show they've announced. There were a few concerts they announced without forewarning.
I'm sure for Paul they'd make a little announcement. He's kind of a big deal.
With the way they over hyped Lady Gaga's second show, who knows what they will do for Paul.
Exactly what I mean. If Paul was going to announce Pittsburgh this week they'd be going into convulsions all over Twitter and FB.
Unless they want to pop a big surprise on everyone! I just really think that since Consol Energy Center is waiting to get a huge name for the opening concert and it has to be a "prestigious" event, that it has to be Paul with him coming to Philly in August as well! I'm never confident on my hopes but I really am on this one! And if I'm wrong, I'll pack my things and go to Philly! Either way, it's not so bad!

Wow 2 shows for Philly.
-
I'm still hopeful for Pittsburgh.

If he plays Pittsburgh I would imagine he would do 2 shows as well.

I think you're right. I still have a good feeling about this. Despite my last minute jitters before tomorrow's announcement.

I just don't think that Pitt is going to happen now! Hopefully a Chicago announcement comes soon after Philly!

I know, I'm kind of thinking..well he won't play two cities in PA with the way he is touring now.
-
nope!
-
I bet to all the people saying he doesn't play Pittsburgh that he will play here. Just watch and see.

I certainly hope he does!

Hmmm now they are saying no Philly announcement till next week. If that Consol Energy Center facebook page says anything about a show being announced next week. Then it could be Paul.

Although it's taking forever to get any kind of announcement from Paul and his gang, I still think Pittsburgh will be on the tour list. I understand people for not wanting to get hopes up, but I'm not doubting Pittsburgh at all. Maybe if this was this Mellon Arena we were talking about.. But common, Consol Energy Center wants a huge act for this event. With Paul doing Philly in August, I'd guarantee they'd grab him up for this event. This being said, I AM losing patience waiting!
-
I am losing patience too. I thought that when I got back from the gym there would be something announced.

Me too! I kept checking my phone all day for Twitter updates while at work.. and nothing. Another weekend goes by where I'm full of suspense. sigh...

There are reports on the Philly thread of tickets going on sale May 20 something, so we probably won't hear anything until next week the way things have been going. Usually an announcement, then the presale the next day.

Yes May 24th is what I heard. That's rough for those of us who work and are devoted to getting tickets the minute they go on sale. Last minute, we're left scrambling trying to get out of a morning of work so we can buy Macca tickets. Only the insane... lol

I know..I really dislike the way the tour dates and presales have been this time around. It's hard to come up with the money in one day.

I agree. This is really hard on the average person.
