Saw paul twice in cleveland in 2002. Got tickets to pittsburgh, and I'm bringing my 8 year old with me, she's really excited. Anybody else bringing their small children to pittsburgh to see Sir Paul?
I think it is awesome you are bringing your daughter! I would love to bring my son, but he is only 2, still too young. I agree with Martin, definitely get her some earplugs. My ears always ring after a show, I can't imagine how it would affect a child.

Although I'm 58(59 0n June 18th) I have never been to a stadium show, all my shows have been either parks(commons) or fair grounds. Is the sound that intense?
I was just to the side of the stage in a similar venue in Columbus 2005, and yes, it is very loud. I also thought it was pretty loud at Citi Field, and I was further away from the stage then. My ears usually ring after a Paul concert, but if I have to go deaf, at least it will be to Paul.

I swear I'm going to pull my hair out if I have to wait any longer into buying a ticket for Paul's concert. I WANT TO SEE PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DARN IT FRIDAY 10:00am!!!!!! HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've waited SEVEN years to see Paul and I'm NOT missing out again!
-
Watching the kid's enjoying Paul's concerts is great!!! I've brought my son since he was 8, he has always been a big fan. He has seen at least 12 of his show's. He's coming with me to the Pittsburgh show. I'm looking forward to seeing all the board members there.

Agreed. Most people should feel this way.

When it comes down to it, I'm happy I got tickets. General Public sale is going to be wiped out in minutes Monday morning.. at least we had a presale opportunity yesterday for those of us who aren't AMEX cardholders. While the PM.com presale was far from perfect in its functionality, we have seats.. and we're going to this (what's going to be) sell out show and the hottest show in town for years to come.
-
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have a ticket because it was pretty close that I almost didn't get this...but I do think i have a right to be a little disappointed that I got row T after I spent almost 2 hours trying to get a ticket and I was on 30 mins before the presale started. I bought a single ticket, not 4 like most of you were trying for. I'm going alone and spent any extra money I had to get this ticket so forgive me if I'm not absolutely thrilled with my ticket location roll

Okay help me out here guys. I'm going to buy my ticket tomorrow for Pittsburgh. Should I go through PM.com first or ticketmaster first? I need to get a 59 dollar or 89 dollar ticket. Any advice will be most appreciated thanks!

I just checked pm.com and it seems that is all sold out for the presale...I guess you would have to try the amex presale? I don't have a password to check for you to see if they're still available...

You won't be able to get tickets until Monday. The AMEX presale is sold out.

I completely understand. That website was awful yesterday, and it's a shame that the "professional" ticket buyers, aka scalpers were on there finding their ways to get into the website and keeping it hogged up for the true fans. I heard numerous stories about people randomly getting kicked off in the middle of the transaction! That's just not right. That didn't happen to me, but the pages were taking about 5 minutes to load and I bought my seats with literally 1 minute left because the pages were loading soooo slowly.

Wonderful that you're taking the youngster, and I'm sure it'll be a fantastic experience. Just one practical point. I strongly recommend you consider buying either ear plugs or ear defenders, and practice the child in wearing them ahead of the show. The intensity of volume at a concert is something a young child will not have experienced and can be startling and - without leaving the venue - something they cannot escape from. I took this precaution with my sons for U2 at Twickenham Stadium in the UK some years ago and having practiced and offered them the ear-plugs noted both boys inserted them the moment the band cranked up the volume. There are concert earplugs that are not designed to be 100% exclusive affording some sound to filter through, and most can be bought on-line. If you opt for in-ear plugs, buy carefully as they come in adult and child sizes. Martin
Thanks, that's a good point. I was going to get her earplugs, but i didn't know what kind to buy.

Hey, we will be neighbors. I was disappointed too, but since that section is so close to the stage, I think they will still be good seats. It just seems really far away... But those were the best seats I could find; I very nearly got stuck with 202, which should have been the middle price in my opinion.
