What have you learned from this website?

It may be nine days into the new year..and I had one new years resolution I wanted to keep,(Keep my mouth shut!) BUT, I must say.. I thought here on this fan site..we could all be equal. It's not that way in real life so why should I except it to be different here. Lesson learned!
I guess getting rid of us Pioneer members made us all equal again....
-
The_Fool:
. I don't worry about keeping my mouth shut ..... but I sure do have to worry about what my fingers might type I hope you have more good days than bad ..... and find good escape time and enjoyment here as well ......
I have to worry about what others type....
-
I've also learned that websites with professional staffs are better at handling the type of problems I encounter on the net then websites run by volunteers or fans.
-
al Sabah:
I have learned that Beatles fans will argue about absolutely anything. And it is The Beatles.
"life is very short and there's no tiii-i-i-i-ime..."

So true..and even shorter than most here! I'm not complaining, just saying. I'm an original fan from way back(both Paul M. and The Beatles) I feel truly blessed to have been around when it all started.. I think most us oldies do. So being a decrypt one does have it's advantages, imo.

Decrypt one? WTF is that? If you meant decrepit, speak for yourself!

I've learn that Paul quit posting... under his old user names. : was it the dead squirrel on the head comment: Sensitive.

How did I miss that Paul used to post here? I recall official messages from Paul, but those stopped around the time of the divorce. Since then we get PR messages that occasionally quote Paul. When did a dead squirrel creep onto someone's head? So confused...

Never heard of that one. Appletart is probably just missing some of our more colorful x members (that had interesting discussions) as many of us do.

Coming here to help myself feel more positive can be a mistake sometimes. : I have found it is unfortunate that sometimes you can think people on a website are your friends, but then you have to remember that behind the names are real people who may or may not turn out to be nice people in the real world. As in everyday real life, be careful about who you befriend on any website. That was my biggest lesson. I am sure the squirrel story is hilarious. Carry on.

I have learned there are serious topics that are raised, that contribute to healthy debate and and there are threads of absolute piffle.

Sorry, was just joking! 'Decrypt' made me think of being in a crypt and we're not ready for that yet! BTW, I'm 13 years younger than Paul which used to seem like decades when I was a young girl. Never dreamed he'd end up marrying much younger women than that!
