do we know when will it go in the 1st place so i can eat my celebration cake?
it will start dropping next week, he needed the album to enter the charts at No1. the days of slow climbs to the top of the charts are long gone. even if it was to squeeze a few more sales, the album will more than likely be up against something from Whitney Houston next week!!
ok how many copies i need to buy to make him pass Whitney Huston?
The ONE you were suppose to get would have made all the difference
i'll get mine when it will be out,i'm not living in Britain or America, the stores need their time here ,also i must be sure that the day i'll go to the store there will be no strikes or declarations in the streets! :

Considering she's just (sadly) died expect a hell of a lot of people buying her albums at once.
Paul can buy his own albums and reach number one he has the money,as for Whitney Huston she died yesterday,we have to wait for a couple of weeks for her first tribute album or not?
I meant one of her greatest hit albums will very likely go straight to the top of the charts, also i'm sure Paul is happy enough with placing 3rd on the charts. He doesn't need to prove to anyone how successful he is in the charts these days, he had more than enough success on the charts with Wings and especially with The Beatles to last 10 lifetimes! If you ask me no.3 is a very good album placement for someone who has been around in the charts almost 50 years!

Congratulations Paul on your offical UK # 3 position for KOTB . Your very first # 3 album placement on the UK album chart , and your 25th Solo/Wings top 10 album in the UK to date

Yup! Looks set for #6 in the US which is the first time in a while he's charted higher over here. Bigger competition from The Fray, Van Halen and Adele over there though.

Wow, that makes it the highest charting he's had in 15 years! Faaaaantastic!

This album is not really going to be played much at my household and is not really my cup of english tea, despite my father bringing me up on this kind of music too. However, it has been very classily done and generally Paul sounds pretty good. My Valentine is a real grower and a lovely track. His PR team have played a blinder, lets hope they can do it with a 'real' Paul release and get the kind of coverage his new original material deserves. Fair play, well done all, much better than expected. And roll on what we real want!

#5 in Netherland http://dutchcharts.nl/weekchart.asp?cat=a Can be more because he is here for a concert in march.

I think that KOTB is going to exceed expectations in the U.S. People are predicting a big release for Van Halen's new album, but I haven't heard a peep about that! However, KOTB seems to be everywhere. It's been doing particularly (and somewhat surprisingly) well with people my age (college-aged), and on iTunes. Anyways, sorry to rant but I could see it maybe hitting #2 or 3! Fingers crossed

These days with the digital piracy, what number would we consider now to be rather "successful," especially for Macca? I mean old days, I would lazily predict a Gold record. But even that is hard to pull off these days, even for the established acts that get good reviews, like Paul Simon and Beastie Boys.

KOTB sold 23.849 copies to debut at # 3 on the UK album chart . Memory Almost Full (2007) sold 21.246 in it's first week , it got to # 5 on the UK album chart . Good first week sales for KOTB ,should go Gold like Memory Almost Full and it could even go Platinum which is 300.000 copies in the UK .
-
KOTB is # 13 in Japan 1o.182 copies sold . It's his highest charting album there since Off The Ground got to # 5 .
-
usa:-- 5 PAUL MCCARTNEY HEAR MUSIC 74,819 -- KISSES ON THE BOTTOM
-
#5 is very good considering the stiff competition...

The album should get a boost from Paul's Grammy performance. KOTB could rival Band on the Run in terms of sales...

#6 in the US would be nice. Although I think Pie and MAF both charted a little higher over here. Not sure about UK numbers.
