today this song is spinning in my head again... just like the first I heard it 22 years ago! It is a very underrated track! rocking, powerful and sexy! what a great vocal ! he should have done it live or release it as a single!

There is something about that whole album -- the first one -- that is so pure and unvarnished. Some critics always dismiss the album's songs as "unfinished" but I think that's what I like about it. It's just Paul -- with no filter. You're inspiring me to go listen to it -- again. -

Oo You is a great jam, love the riff, and great vocal (as always). The motif being somewhat sexual, very similar to John's 'Well Well Well' of the same period. a couple hardass rockers. Who you think gets the A-Side on that one? actually neither is probably single quality.. but both great.

Even better when you stop to realize that he is playing every instrument. That always gets me when I hear McCartney. A great song and a great album!

It's cool how many times various hip-hop artists (Beastie Boys, Common, The Roots, and others) have sampled Momma Miss America -- mostly that amazing drumming bit.

I was not at all aware of that.

Hmmm. Could have been Paul's "Come Together" with that swampy feel and similar sound had he thought it through and had some actual lyrics. His voice sounds great....all pure and unfiltered and unprocessed. Otherwise, for me, it's just annoying.
