And after processing checks, he happily sings the end of the song...
"Ahhhh, ah ah ah.... Ah-ah-ah...... ah-ah-ah......."

Thats a great photo, thanks for posting it up. If has been identified correctly then it was taken on Thursday 8th October 1964.

Thanks, Kestrel! That would have been right after the Fall 1964 U. S. Tour. Have always thought "She's a Woman," "Things We Said Today," and "You Can't Do That" were (and still are!) such great songs from the 1964-65 tours. I think had the Beatles continued to tour up to 1970, they probably would have dropped those "mop top era" songs from their repertoire, but I think they're lovely!
Paul singing "She's a Woman" at NME Awards, April 11, 1965... to me, the raw energy of his singing is the same as he gave in performing "Nineteen Eighty Five" several years later.

Loved the part about Stella sneaking into her dad’s closet to put on the jacket!
What do you wanna bet he still has it?

Thanks for posting the link, Oobu! Love the part about Stella too!
I saw there were photos online of other people wearing the same strawberry jacket, without the "Macca" of course. It must have been mass marketed, and he just had his name sewn on it. Seems like I remember seeing a photo of Linda wearing it too... will have to find it. I think he probably still does have it!

Correction - (since I can't edit previous post) - meant to say that after the jacket was made for Paul, it was good that it was mass produced, so fans could have one. I liked that they gave a pattern in the link Oobu posted, someone that's a good seamstress could probably try to construct a similar design from it. (I say similar design because the original jacket is probably copyrighted, due to it being tour merchandise. )

4th April 1973....this b/w photo and the one above with Paul at the keyboard are from the London BBC Top Of The Pops recording of My Love. The other photo with Paul & Linda must have been from a couple of years later as Linda is wearing a 'Magneto and Titanium Man' shirt (not sure which one is depicted though) from the Venus and Mars album.

Thanks for the info, Kestrel! He must have liked the jacket so much he kept wearing it for a year or two. It's great we have people here who know or can look up these facts for us, and be our "Paulclopedias"so to speak! lol

Magneto, I think because he was in a red costume:

Titanium Man’s was green.

You're very welcome,LadyLeslie. I have to say that I'm fascinated with dates, be they dates of recording sessions or of photos etc. Maybe its the (amatuer) family historian in me?

That's great, Kestrel, have you traced your tree back very far? I've been able to do a lot of family history research and it's really interesting, and a great hobby. I think it would be wonderful if Paul or RIngo could appear on one of the "Who Do You Think You Are" or "Finding Your Roots" genealogy programs..
I think Paul's ancestry would be interesting, because there seems to be a difference of opinion between genealogists about where the McCartney family came from... some say Ireland, and others Scotland... I tend to think probably Ireland... but he could have a bit of Scottish and Welsh on both sides.
Ringo could probably find out more about his biological roots too. His legal last name is Starkey, but I remember NancyR posting that his biological father's last name was Parkin (spelling?)
