The Paul McCartney "FASHION POLICE!" Thread

Nancy R:
This ensemble was described as a pink shirt with polka dots and white plimsoles (you can't see the shoes in this pic but they are I think just white tennis shoes) July 1968
In Waiting For the Beatles, Carole Bedford describes in detail breaking into Paul's house and stealing his clothes. She described a pink polka dotted shirt that she surmised, "Must have been the height of male fashion at the time of its purchase." Wonder if this was it

Fan4-45years:
Is that a see-through shirt? Seems odd to wear something like that to his dad's house. Just saying ...
Well, i don't see his nipples or his belly button, but the shirt does look like it's odd material

P.S. I just noticed his cufflinks each have a big "P" on them! Paul thought it was funny too
Thanks for scoping that out for us.
I wonder what it stands for....

audi:
. It looks like he mugged a homeless guy because he quickly needed a shirt/tie piece for the event.
Well, like many guys I've watched dress themselves, he probably went through his hamper and anything that had been at the bottom long enough becomes clean enough to wear with enough deodorant.

Take it from KO, she's an expert on nipples and belly buttons! But they could be hidden behind a white dot! (that has to be the shirt Carole Bedford stole!)

I have to defend this!!!!!!!!!!!! So m'lud, in Paul's defence, this was an off the cuff video, filmed with one camera whilst on holiday with Linda, hence the very casual attire and miming to a ghetto blaster! If he's on holiday with his lovely wife in the middle of nowhere, he can wear what he likes! (and i think it looks cool in the video! 90s Paul could be like that!)

Didn't Simon (Mary's hubby) film it?

I thought it was her first husband, because she was with him in 1997. Had 2 boys with him in 1999 (Arthur) and Elliot (2002)

Alistair Donald, he produced Wingspan too IIRC.
