Paulmccartneyfan1 - where did you get your incredible Hofner tee shirt - are they selling them at MSG? Thanks Maccagirl61842
Hi! I got the shirt at MSG yesterday when they made the announcement! They are not selling them. They weren't selling them yesterday either. But instead, they just gave it to me!
-
Hi paulmccartneyfan1 Thanks for the info - lucky you. Too bad they aren't selling them because it's a great tee shirt. Maybe they will have them at the actual show

Thank you! It is a great t shirt! I really like the design with the Madison Square Garden logo on the side, and the 9/15/17 date on the other side! They are actually having a contest to win the t shirt! But I believe they are only giving ONE away to someone in the U.S?

Oof, MSG, tough ticket venue. Hopeful this presale they list: Monday 1st May - 9am (ET / 2pm BST): Newark, Madison Square Garden, Brooklyn works out! Any advice on how presale works greatly appreciated!!! Saw Paul for 3rd time myself last year, but 1st time for 10yo daughter. Seeing a Beatle together with my daughter at MSG playing his solo and Beatles tunes in 2017? Priceless.

Any rumors of additional MSG shows? There are open days on each side of the 15th?

No, they are booked solid the week leading up to the 15th. There is an opening on Sunday the 17th, but The Scorpions will be in there on the 16th...which I find incredibly surprising. I saw them at a venue half the size of MSG about seven years ago and it was only about half full...seems more than a bit ambitious...

Tix $39.50-$375 per MSG website. Most expensive public show ever performed by him. Damn.
To be sure, it is very expensive. But the top ticket price at both of his Budokan gigs was about $1000 (for a shortened show)!

Can u provide the link to that info? I checked the MSG website and can find nothing that even relates to Paul pricing. I also checked Ticketmaster and no pricing.

Anyone been able to find the break-down of prices? If I'm getting all the way to NYC for this, there's no way I can pay over $200 for a concert ticket...which rules out all VIP and probably any chance of being on the floor or the first bowl. Frankly, I just want to be in the house this night. It's going to be a special show, I can feel it! Plus, lots of potential for celebration with family over the weekend...still trying to line things up- ticket prices would help with that!

There is a nice arena map in the Des Moines thread that shows the price breakdown for that show by section. I know the prices are different for MSG, but the map may give you an idea of what areas are being sold at the top price, next lowest, lowest, etc. Most of the seats seem to be at the top two price levels.

Thanks, but I'm just interested in the specificity of the price hike for MSG, I've already bought standard price tix for this tour in Tampa.

Ah thanks bits a bit confusing as the email just 9am and I assumed the system knows from my details that I'm in the UK! It wou,d be do much easier if he announced some UK dates!!! ops:

Thinking ahead here...does anyone have any insight as to the chase bridges and any obstruction they may create to folks in the 200's section? Anxiously scoping out the chart...my plan is to just get the first three tix that I can, but not if I'm staring at the back of this damn bridge all night...

Wouldn't really be fair to New Yorkers to put tickets on sale at 4am for their home town show!!

. Having put more thought to it I suppose not! But when I got the email here in the UK I assumed the time was our time as it didn't specify whether it was BST or EDT. I can't be sure now but I thought the times given for tickets for the European gigs going on sale last year were given in BST. Although mainland Europe is only one hour ahead of the U.K. So it didn't give it much thought but yes it would absurd to sell at 4am! It would be great if he did some dates in his home country for once.
