You can now go take a look at Paul McCartney's EWETUBE http://www.paulmccartney.com/ewetube/ Clever
Ewetube, what a clever idea. Reminds me I have an album ad for Ram from 1971 that I got out of Billboard magazine at the radio station I used to hang out at back in high school. It has a picture of baby Mary posing with a little lamb, and the ad reads "Brung to Ewe by Ram", Ram in the wording as it appeared on the album.

Strong review from the BBC that says Paul's voice throughout "shows uncanny range" and says the "best moments are breathtaking" : http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/reviews/gdgw
The UK single The Back Seat of My Car stalled, astonishingly, at number 39, but it?s a textbook example of why it?s impossible to sneer at this master craftsman for long. Romantic, surging, loaded with melodic twists and dynamic swoops which rip your heart out while smiling innocently, it?s a career pinnacle from a golden, competitive era.
And it ends with this lovely line: "Slaughtered at birth, Ram has lived on to fight."

What a great line...slaughtered at birth, Ram has lived on to fight. Indeed it has! Thanks for sharing this.

Another great review...but we all feckin knew this right?
McCartney is still full of Beatle-juice on this record, filling the studio with vast and multifaceted instrumentation and endlessly melodic songs comparable to ?Abbey Road? in pure-genius songcraft and arrangement.

That is a great review. Especially touching last line, about seeing Linda in the full bloom of her young womanhood in the videos. Earlier today, I was watching the Scotland video off the McCartney deluxe video that is set to the music of Junk and was thinking that it was so sad with that music, seeing her on there w2ith their then little children. It must affect Paul, putting these things together.

I registered early on, but i had forgot my usernane and stuff lol, the sites like thefest.com started shipping today on their mono/dx edition's. i really like their site, the owner mark lapidos says he started beatlefest in 1974 with john's permission, and today it's grown into a giant empire.thanks for laying out the welcome mat.

I usually go to his fests here in Chicago. But he is usually kinda expensive...Paul's own site and amazon were cheaper than that...but at least it is on the way!

I finally broke down and pre-ordered RAM ($90.99). Also got George's Living In the Material World 2 DVD, BluRay, CD (the 10 songs one) and 96-page book for $73.64 (all from Amazon) My dad sent me $200 for my birthday so I also ordered the George CD Let It Roll ($12.46)

I changed my order for the Ram special edition to RAM deluxe this morning, couldn't stand not having it. Check out the prices of last summer's deluxe Mc and Macca II now on Amazon. They have both gone up about $20.00 in price then what I got them for last June when they came out. That should make you feel better, at least it helps me conquer austerity anxiety in upgrading the order.
