I'll have to go & check that out. But leave more messages...sign up again? : I wish I could find the pics that I took in 1976 at the Chicago show. Gotta start searching every thing.

I saw this concert in Denver in 1976, so I will be getting this deluxe set. It will be a great rememberance of a legendary concert.
-
Well I'm glad I pre-ordered early. I just checked the price again on Amazon for the WOA deluxe set, and it's now listed at $140!!! When I pre-ordered it at 11:30 a.m -- barely 4 hours ago -- it was $95. At least I'm guaranteed that price. Sorry but $140 is just too high. There must have been a lot of people pre-ordering. Amazon often raises the price if there are a lot of pre-orders. But it should drop down again.
-
$140??? Forget it. I'll wait a few months and get one on ebay for $50!!

One hundred and forty dollars is outrageous for a package that doesn't include a bonus disc of new music. The Cow Palace thing is supposed to have same songs as off the WOA album, just done at a different venue. Why not a disc of rehearsals with songs that weren't played anywhere, things that were mulled over and discarded.

Yeah, this is starting to feel like going to a regular McCartney concert!!! I kid!! I want this, but I am going to sit back and see how it plays out. How on earth could it be $95 this morning, then $140 now, before it is even released??

Sounds as if it has become a commodity and Goldman-Sachs is playing speculative games!

Just looked on Amazon US site and I am seeing a price of $68.38, it says two discs, import from Japan and I don't see the one double that. The photo of the package looks the same . Usually, an import from Japan is more expensive, so this isn't making any sense. Sorry, not good at doing links.

Sounds like you're looking at the Japanese import of the standard edition, which Amazon is offering for $14. Here's the link for the deluxe set: http://www.amazon.com/Wings-Over-America-Deluxe-McCartney/dp/B00C8985DU/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1365537613&sr=1-2&keywords=wings+over+america+deluxe It was $95 when I pre-ordered it this morning. Now it's $140. I think $95 is an OK price though I was ideally hoping it would drop to $75 or $80 -- like Ram. But really, I don't think there's any need to get worked up yet about the price. Amazon does this all the time, adjusting prices up and down based on demand. Just keep checking.

I'm pre-ordering through Paul's site to get the Vintage Wings '76 t-shirt with the WOA poster lithograph. This should show up in the coming weeks.

That's good advice, think I will sit back and watch what happens with pricing.
