You guys are great! Thanks so much for capturing this memory for a lifetime!!!

My daughter and I went to Memphis this weekend to see Paul in concert. It was something we didn't think we would ever get to do, but when we found out about his coming to Memphis, (2 hours from us) we knew we had to go. She is a 21 yr old living encyclopedia of Paul and Beatle facts LOL! Needless to say, it was spectacular! Nothing like 15,000 or so people singing along with all the songs, and for one night, becoming like one big family. Definitely a bucket list day for us!
-
So glad to hear you had a great time at the concert! He's one of a kind, for sure!

Paul arriving at the Forum:

Before the concert I was at the Westin bar/restaurant. Brian Ray came in and I got his autograph. He was very gracious and I said I was sorry for interruping him and he said it was no problem. I also saw Abe and Rusty getting into the bus. Missed Paul's arrival at the venue by about 15 or 20 minutes. Got to meet Fletch and Cindy and a bunch of other people. Hi, guys. It was fun waiting in front of the Westin with you. The pre-concert band was great. I talked to the drummer who also drums for Jerry Lee Lewis. Too bad they don't have a CD out because I would have bought it. They didn't have as many tee-shrit choices at this concert but I got my goodies without a very long line at all. I already wrote about the concert. It is so magical to be at a Paul concert. If anyone is on the fence about going-go. You will not regret it.

This is the only Memphis copy of "Hi Hi Hi" I can find so far. It's from far away and it's not the complete song, but the sound isn't bad. You can see Paul's first reaction to our Sweet Banana sign, but not the final reaction which was the biggest. It was so much fun!!!!! Thinking about it puts a big smile on my face. Thank you so much ((Paul)) for adding this song to the setlist!!!!!!!
I'm still on a (Hi Hi Hi) high since the concert!!!!!! Just thinking about how I can get myself to another show in this tour. Same as others, I'm hoping and praying Paul isn't considering retirement anytime soon. The man still has it!!!!!!!!!! He not only sounded great, he looked fabulous!!!!What was his final reaction?

[..] what's in his hand? The little blue thingee? A pic?
I think so!
Maybe he was leaving a PM guitar pic on the grave of Elvis.
He said that he left Elvis one of his picks so he could play in heaven.

From what I recall, his laugh was bigger the last time and it was very cute!! Just wish I could see it again.

Had a fantastic weekend in Memphis, even if my GPS took me on a detour through west Memphis. It was great to finally meet Fletch and Cindy. Will catch Kelly in Milwaukee. I ran in to so many people I have met at concerts over the years. That is one of the best parts of Macca concerts. My favorite part from where I sat is that four women in front of me had written down the set list and were yelling out the next song. Two fans who had never seen Paul before told them to quit doing that, they didn't want to know. I was directly in between them. Luckily, the women quit calling out the name of the next song.
-
Looking forward to seeing you there...I recieved the ticket to Milwaukee and indy today...Milwaukee ticket is rather plain..not the normal ticketmaster tic.s this time around they printed the ticket in the venue evidently. Indy at least has the arena in the background but at least their from the venues.

I was looking for your shirt that you had on in St. Louis (breakfast at the hotel), I didn't see it, did you wear it?

I thought, "ok wow, the real ending of Ram On, cool" but then he started singing Big Barn Bed.
........and a hush fell over the entire bunch at soundcheck!!!
i would have passed out had he done Big Barn Bed.... also: someone else had this idea on here a ways back, but, wouldn't be cool if you could go to iTunes or some such and download the exact show you had just been to see? like 24 to 48 hors or so after you'd seen it.

No Rick I'm not on Facebook, I'm waiting for my son to come home (I think he still has a Facebook account) so I can see your great pictures. Walking down the street in Memphis and hearing someone call my name and seeing it was you was a pleasant surprise! I can't wait to see concert photo's, especially from the end of the concert
Phil...what happened at the end of the concert??
I'm not Phil, but I hope he won't mind me telling you that Paul signed JoAnn's birthday sign!
Ahhh...that's great! Any photos?
Thanks! I'm going to try and post the autograph. He signed one of those posters or lithographs from the 2005 tour from Madison Square Garden I'll see you in Brooklyn!!

Oh, sorry, Phil, I thought he signed the birthday sign!

I didn't wear that shirt this time. I wore my friend's creation of Hi Hi Hi since this tour is promoting WOA. People kept stopping me, wanting to know where to buy it. I like this shirt better than the St. Louis shirt.

Is Milwaukee ticket plain green? That's what my other ticket looks like.

Kelly, did you order through Crowdsurge? I think that is what you have if it just arrived. (Mine is green with no embellishments.)
