This is awesome. In the 15+ years I've been going to Memphis, I think I've been to 2 of those, lol. Lots of new places to try now. Thanks for sharing. And while on the subject of Paul singin' some Memphis, that would be awesome. I loved that material on Run Devil Run and The Russian Album. "Blue Suede Shoes" or "Memphis, Tennessee" would be a great addition. My vote would go to "Good Rockin' Tonight".
-
you are welcome LetMeRollIt89, Paul actually played 'Good Rockin Tonight' at the Liberty Bowl during his acoustic set here back in 1993.

I am a new member here and a long-time Beatles/McCartney fan. We are so excited to finally have tickets to see Paul and will be leaving early Sunday morning for our trek up to Memphis (about an 8 hour drive). We would love a chance to see Paul arriving for Soundcheck and was hoping we (myself, my wife and daughter) could up with everybody at the eatery and walk with you to the Forum. God bless and see you all on Sunday!! Ken

Ken, no problem. Meet us at Blues City Cafe around 3:30PM

I'm about half way to Memphis and have stopped for the night. I'm hoping for Blue Suede Shoes. It's been at sound check on this tour. That may be the clue for us all.
-
We got to Memphis yesterday evening. Walked around Beale Street. Today we went to Sun Studios and Graceland. Staying near the FedExForum so ate and walked around Beale Street again. Having a great time so far.
-
Of the Elvis songs I believe he has performed Heartbreak Hotel and all Shook up before too.
-
I hope you are right Linda! Would be cool for him to play that one, especially here in Memphis...

Where is the after concert get together? Still at Club 152

Leaving in the morning. Now the excitement is starting to kick in! Hey Fletch, what's the best parking option? I've parked at some meters before, as well as near Peabody and some of the garages. Where's the most ideal one in proximity to the FedEx?
-
On the road from the airport into Memphis we saw two billboard. One had the Out There picture and words and the other one said "Welcome Sir Paul". So neat to see them.
-
Picked up a local free paper called the Memphis Flyer. It had 3 different ads for Paul' s concert with 3 different pictures. Cool find.
-
forget64, nothing planned yet for after show. Club 152 was closed down last week, reopened this week. Jeffrey and the Pacemakers are playing in front on the Forum from 5PM till 7PM.

LetMeRollIt89, there is a lot south of Beale Street on Linden a couple of blocks away. That is where I park for Grizz games. Lees Landing is near the Westin and Forum http://local.yahoo.com/info-37126497-lee-landing-garage-llc-memphis
