I've heard many Paul songs in the grocery store, but hearing "Fine Line" today was a first. And yes, I found the closest speaker and stood beneath it for the entire song. My three year old wasn't happy, but I had to. I thought hearing Mull of Kintyre previously was the most "out there" Paul song to hear in the store, but Fine Line beats it. Anyone else sit beneath the speakers when a Paul song comes in in a store?

Yeah me. I can put a cd on at home and do whatever I'm doing. But if I come into contact with a song 'Outside' then I'm like the most one-tracked person ever. It's all about that song and I cant believe people are carrying on their own business without acknowledging the greatness of the song.

If I had some more time to spend, then I guess I'd be with you my friend.

I am so lucky that my grocery store seems to always play Paul songs when I'm there! I've also heard Ringo and George songs, but not a John song... My store also plays some unexpected songs... I know where all the speakers are and I'll go and stand underneath one, the same as you! I've also heard a Paul song in the card store and once at a pharmacy!!

I've heard Songs we were Singing earlier this week; that was a nice surprise! Not a song I would expect to here in the grocery.

I would say that every time I hear a Paul song on store muzak system, it's almost always something way more obscure than I'd hear on the radio...And it's almost always something post Flowers in the Dirt...and it's not terribly common, but I'm not surprised hear one of these songs when I'm out grocery shopping

In fact, about a year or so ago, I was more surprised to hear classical instrumental version of With A Little Luck than I was to hear Fine Line while in a particular store (although Chaos and Creation was about 8 years old at the time)

My store plays Paul regularly because of me. (Oh no....she's in a bad mood....I said something to tick her off...quick! Put some Paul on now!) but a few years back, I heard the song This One in a CVS drug store and I had forgotten about that song when I used to listen to it over and over again in the early 90s

"I don't like you" "I'll get over it"

I will say when I first saw the title of this thread, I thought it was about meeting Paul in a store. I keep wishing he'd come into my store. It's mostly veggie. the owner is one.

I've heard "Fine Line" in a local grocery store. And also "Put it There" more than once. They used to often feature a girl singer's sort of jazzy rendition of "Maybe I'm Amazed."

I was heading to lunch a couple days ago and as I passed a sandwich shop, I could hear "Let Me Roll It" playing. I detoured and ending up eating lunch at that sandwich shop. If any store wants my money, they just need to play some Paul and I'll get sucked in.

Haha I do that a lot. Whenever I hear a Paul song or a Beatles song I stay in the store until the song's over. I did that with my parents too when I was younger I asked them "Can we stay until the song is over?" When one of George's songs came on I went into ecstasy!
