Paul on Jimmy Kimmel - September 23
-
Fortunately for a lot of us who still like hearing about them, Paul isn't tired of talking about The Beatles, nor is Ringo for that matter. And there is the new Beatles BBC album coming out next month, and the Lewisohn biography too. So there will probably be more interviews about said subject, and opportunity to discuss here.

Or in forums such as the Yesterday one. And as far as Ringo...he does get annoyed when people keep asking about the Beatles. I have heard him numerous times saying to move on.

Nobody said that a interviewer had to forget McCartney was a Beatle but I don't think that well over 40 yrs since the Beatles it should dominate any interview with McCartney. If there is a new BBC Beatle album coming out then that makes sense to ask about the album since it is a current event.

There was a time when Paul, and the other three, would not talk about The Beatles because the break-up was too painful. But those days are long since past, and McCartney and Starr are now the "keepers of the flame." Seems they don't mind, as Paul's Out There tour set list reminds us. But I disagree that 95% of Paul's interview on Kimmel was Beatles related. Kimmel held up Paul's New album cover quite a bit.

Here's a quote about Ringo from June of 2013: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ringo-starr-like-think-beatles-1942620 "Ringo Starr has been asked the ?crazy question? a million times before, and he knows that it?s coming. I know he hates being interviewed because it?s always questions about the Fab Four, if he misses George and John, and whether he?s jealous of Sir Paul?s knighthood."

no...they had a notebook with like 500 songs in it. what about 'in spite of all the danger'?
That was credited to Paul & George. (I think we already mentioned that on this thread) The earliest Beatles recording credited to Lennon/McCartney was You'll Be Mine (on Anthology) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lennon%E2%80%93McCartney

Very nice to meet you too, McCartney. I haven't really told a lot of people this, but, I actually help out and work with Chris Carter. That's how I managed to be backstage for the McCartney show on Monday. I'm the one who took the pictures you see in the article. I wish I would have taken a few more photos, but I was just too excited and wanted to take everything in!

The whole concert is on youtube at last!
Thank you so much! I've tried to watch it on myspace several times and it hangs up and stops and starts back up at the beginning! Have yet to see the middle of the concert (from Birthday to Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da)
I've watched the whole concert several times now. As a whole, Paul and Band were tremendous. As I said before, Paul was right in his element singing and playing right on the streets. Loved the way he was interacting with the audience at whatever angle they were at. All of his comments seemed so spontaneous which was nice to see. I thought the crowd got more into it with each additional song. By the end, they were really ready for the Hey Jude singalong. There also seemed to be a sincere ovation after he finished "New". I sensed that the crowd really liked all the new songs. By the way, I thought that Junior's Farm was done better than any previous performance I had seen. I could clearly hear every lyric to the song and Paul's vocal was great. I could also say the same about Jet and Birthday. PS Love the "in the heat of battle" line in Save Us.
