Does Paul care about his fans getting tix to concerts?

At least we're kept informed here & it's truth, not rubbish like other rumour mongers
I make my plans based on fact, not rumors.

all i did was simply call Ticketmaster at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, to procure a ticket. Was able to get one and had it delivered by a Fed Ex truck, for an extra charge. I was scared I wouldn't be able to snag a ticket but it proved to be simple and easy. I only wished I'd jumped on it much sooner and gotten much closer to the stage At first I didn't know if I'd be able to get off work to attend.

It's nice being my own boss, as I no longer have to scheme to get off time or take vacation days to see Paul!

My cousin got tickets for Dallas the day of the concert. You have to keep trying.

It's high time Paul started lowering the cost of concert tickets. Many of my Paul/Beatles friends either flat out refuse to pay hundreds of dollars to see Paul live while others just can't afford the cost of tix anymore. Then when you start adding in travel expenses & hotel/motel expenses, the costs are downright scary.

I agree with you 110%!

I wish Paul would take into consideration that many of us have families that also would like very much to see him live. If prices continue to rise, people just won't be able to afford to go to even one show. Not even one person.

Who do you think sets the prices for these tours? Is it a management team for Paul - do you think he has personal input? All I can say is that for somebody who presents himself as a whole-family entertainer, at a time of a global recession, the prospect of taking your family along to see him would be well out of the range of most struggling families. Macca, or your management team...please have heart and keep the prices a little bit lower - and I know that other concerts are also very expensive, but two wrongs don't make a right.

Not to mention, in many cases, if the drive is quite long, there's the extra expense of a motel.

A few people agree, but is he/ are they listening? Which brings us back to the issue of whether "he" may look at his own forum. It's not like Paul needs any more money, so by whom is the decision made to charge a very high price? Or is it all about unbridled capitalism - ie. charge as much as the market will bear? That's a bit Thatcherite. I sometimes think it is about making money above all else - for that reason most tours are in the USA where prices are even higher and venues larger. Sad if it all boils down to that.

I'd be willing to pay less & let them take down a few of the big screens. That way he'd have less employees to pay.

Maybe just reduce his profit margins without having to cut anything out of the show. He doesn't need the money and most classical musicians get about £30,000 a year who play in a national orchestra, to put things into some perspective.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if another tour with high priced tix is announced in the not too distant future.

I agree. I really don't want to attend another concert in a stadium. I've learned that unless you pay the big $, you can't see Paul with your own eyes. I want to see him with my eyes, not on the screens. I also don't want to deal with weather.

Complete agreement - who wants to shell out mega bucks to stare at Paul on a huge screen all night. Ain't nuthin' like the real thing!

Just don't know if we can afford any more Paul concerts. Would probably have to take out a 2nd mortgage on our home to afford tix!
