Awww, so cute!
The kid knows his stuff, especially when he starts singing "Jojo was a man..."Cool video! so cute when Harper does the count in, interesting footage of making an LP (I had no clue about it) and I'd love to have heard Harper sing Get Back Wikied Harper and learned....
In NYC, Harper frequently played music with his childhood friend, Sean Lennon, son of famed musician John Lennon. Harper played guitar on Sean's second album, Friendly Fire
Cool!
LOL I read the same bit today as well It would have been great to have heard him sing Get Back but I also love Bingo. It's one of my favourite English nursery songs (I'll make sure my niece will be able to sing that one before long )
I'm with you. I bet my kids and I sang that song no less than 1,000 times when they were in pre-school.

Beatles films inspire new Jonas Brothers TV show article ""It's hard not to make parallel comparisons to the Beatles in 1962 and 1963 when you see the kind of response that the Jonas Brothers' fans have to them. It's a force of nature," executive producer Roger Schulman told reporters at a preview." Yeah right : Show of hands please....how many think anyone will remember the Jonas Brothers in 10 years?? 5 years??
My youngest is SO not impressed with your assessment, Tina.

I just finished watching _Catch-2_2, the movie that Artie did in 1969 on location in Mexico. ("Tom, get your plane right on time, I know your part will go fine, fly down to Mexico")...and the movie that was partly responsible for the S&G break-up, but that's not my point. It's a very weird and surreal movie, BUT...doesn't Art look great? *sigh* [[img]http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/vlivantje/SimonGarfunkel/th_Catch22_03.jpg[/img">](http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/vlivantje/SimonGarfunkel/Catch22_01.jpg]<img src=)
I can't tell you how many times I've come close to picking that flick up at Blockbuster, but every time I end up putting it back on the shelf. I vaguely recall having to read the book in high school (Tina, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Catch 22 generally one of those books that's been banned in high schools in recent years?), and I remember not caring so much for the story. But I'd forgotten Art was in the flick. Maybe I'll finally check it out soon. You liked it okay? Or too weird for your taste? Does this go on your 'recommend it!" list? :
Hmmm, do I like it? I don't know...if it wasn't for Art I never would have watched it, that's for sure. But if you want to see another movie with Art, take Carnal Knowledge or Bad Timing instead. They're also "weird" movies, but I like Bad Timing the most, despite its rather uh...disturbing ending. I had never heard of Catch-22 before Art. The book definitely isn't on our high school list. But I might read the book now to see what it's about.

If you let your kid play with your guitars in your own studio and teach him everything from the Beatles......................maybe your kid is also singing like this
He's awesome, Angela! I've never heard of him before........sure wish I could understand what he's saying in those spoken parts.
He said: There are 2 kinds of good songs. Or they catch you with the lyrics or they give you energy. And he tells that he was born on a rainy monday in Delft on march 20 and that his mother wanted a sundaychild and spring child, and he said sorry to his mom for that The first time I heard this songs I thought he was English or American Very surpised that he was Dutch ops: we get more and more good dutch singers and songwriters which I very like most of the time

And now for some music....aka "the obsession continues". [The Sounds of Silence[/color">](http://rapidshare.com/files/183809147/SoundsOfSilence.mp3]<span style=) (click to download) I'm not too happy about this song, I don't know what it is. I've thought about not posting it but the truth is, I just don't have time right now to re-do it, so it'll have to do. : Maybe some day you'll see another version.
This is really beautiful. I wonder why you're not happy about it, great guitar playing and your singing is just perfect!

Oh, Paul on the "Hormone factory"!!! Those women became a whole drugstore when he entered the stage!
He still has the "effect"...the cute Beatle forever
Fun interview for sure, and the other radio interview with Howard Stern is even more hilarious, was along time ago I heard, if I ever did, such an interview with Paul, crazy man that Stern!!! And so refreshing too, not needing to hear the regular stuff where Paul takes the safe path...
I haven't listened to the Stern interview but I bet it's a hoot
Howard Stern's interview was great! I loved the questions.
- You went through a dark period, shitty marriage. By the way, who told you to get the prenup? Do you remember? - Stop it, Howard. - You are on my show. He should have listened to Howard. -

That is definitely saying something... Someone is getting desperate. '
Hahaha, I was WAITING for that. That's why I wrote the "gimme" in the first place, with that song in mind!
Gimme some truth, you need a man... or rather... you need MEN!

A US airliner on a domestic flight with at least 152 people aboard has crashed into the Hudson River in New York City but with no loss of life. All 148 passengers and the crew of at least four were rescued from the sinking plane, the US Federal Aviation Administration confirmed. Everyone survived! That is amazing. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7832191.stm
My oldest called me in somewhat of a panic late yesterday afternoon, as I was driving my youngest home from school and an early dinner. I say 'panic' cuz that's the same flight that my husband often takes from New York and more than likely it's the same flight crew (I'll have to ask him). Thankfully, he wasn't on that flight cuz he was in Chicago yesterday and last night, but I'm also thankful that the pilot was able to control the situation enough to actually make it a 'water landing' rather than the more common water crash. Had the plane not just taken off, we'd probably be reading about a very different outcome today. Amazing, yes Svenn. Definitely agree with you there.
I can understand that she was in a panic when she heard about this, thankfully your husband wasn't on that plane, but it would also be cool if he were, landing on the Hudson River... not everyone gets to experience that... I didn't know that a flock of birds could do so much damage and actually bring down a plane. But the Canada geese are quite big. http://weblog.pell.portland.or.us/~orc/Portland/Westmoreland/commuters.jpg It is really impressive that Sullenberger managed to land on the river. Overall, statistics from the US authorities compiled by the FAA suggest some 219 people have died since 1988 in incidents involving animals colliding with planes. The FAA received almost 76,000 reports of bird strikes between 1990 and 2007.
