Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Estádio Mineirão, May 4th - ARCHIVE

I don't know if anyone mentioned it here, but there are some lasers being used too. They look amazing, and give Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite a psychodelical look.

Someone mentioned that the light show looked like a rave circa 1989! The staging was amazingly OTT!! Love it.

There's a structure that looks like an arch that comes down too, it's incredible, and used on 3 or 4 songs. The full stage was different. Also, the stage's floor is full of LEDs, so it looks like Space Within US one.

He and the band sound absolutely fantastic!

Also, the stadium was AMAZING at Let It Be. It usually is, but Mineirão was special.

I think Paul is mistakenly under the impression that the general public has a special 'thing' for Long & Winding Road. Paul... we don't.
I actually really like that song. ops:
I like it too!!
I Love it tooo!
I clarified my statement on Long and Winding Road many pages back, so I guess it got lost in the shuffle. I don't have anything against the song. I actually enjoy it too. But I think Paul is mistakenly under the impression that it's in the same category as those other 'sacred' songs like Hey Jude, Let It Be, and Yesterday, where the audience would riot of they weren't played. I don't think the song is QUITE as much of a "must-play" as those. That is all.

I'm not watching any videos until my show in three weeks. I'm thrilled by all the changes to the set list. Paul has never made this many changes to the set list since a last tour. I figure there will be the A and B set lists and I'm anxious to see what the rotating songs will be. If people didn't think songs from Wings over America were not going to be played, you don't understand Paul and his marketing at all. Rockshow is showing in cinemas in mid-May and the deluxe box set will be released the end of May. That is what Paul is promoting.

Love that ending! He can still sing the hell out of it after not doing it for 30+ years. I think I'm most excited for hearing this one out of all the additions.

Have a wander over the the main site blog on this show: http://www.paulmccartney.com/news-blogs/news/27530-new-out-there-tour-launched-in-belo-horizonte You'll see in the Disqus comments some excited feedback - bubbling to the top of the comments due to positive "vote up"s and replies is feedback from one of the four petitioners invited on stage Cecilia Cury who had her Beatle tattoo signed by Paul.
