You really liked "It" ?? From some of the reviews, thought I wouldn't be able to stomach this for its high level of creepiness and scares. I better give "It" a pass. Amusing it's a big hit 'cause King and Trump were recently feuding. I want to see "mother" but am dreading it too, from reading about the director's previous "Black Swan." A promising cast--Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfieffer and Ed Harris star in "mother!" Will be a big scare fest, too.

No thank you...the world is scarey enough, without seeing scarey movies

Loved Reece Witherspoon's Stella McCartney dress. Stella nailed it. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DJ-G0EfVYAYLxAc.jpg

This is the most out of the know ... that I have ever been about what is at the movies I probably could name only a few if that ... The movies that I name Could be gone from the theaters already.

"The Other Side of the Mountain" starring the great Kate Winslet and the amazing Idris Elba is a very good adventure love story with some harrowing moments, which SPOILER ends happily . I enjoyed it.
-
Want to go see Victoria and Abdul and the new Blade Runner. The movie Foreigner with Pierce Brosnan also looks good.
-
Hope to see Blade Runner 2, Murder on the Orient Express, Let a there Be Light should be good too

When I took American History (even in college in the '70s) we never made it to WWII by the end of the year or semester!
Where did you stop? I can see not covering Vietnam during the '70s, but WWII changed the world.
I don't remember, maybe WWI.
I find this disturbing and sad.

Yeah, they should have started with WWII and worked backwards, but they always started with Christopher Columbus in 1492 and went forwards!

I want to see "The Glass Castle," "The Big Sick" and "The Only Living Boy in New York," which are all playing now at the beach in S.C. so I'm going there to see them, probably. I guess I want to see "Home Again" with Reese Witherspoon, though the trailer made it look a bit cringe-inducing in parts. Hurricane Irma is probably gonna prevent me from going to the beach
I watched "The Glass Castle" last weekend. Good flick. Although disturbing. It emoted.

Try moving to China. I used to know everything starring everybody before it came out. Now, people talk about movies that came out last year that I've never heard of starring actors I wouldn't recognize with a score card. 99% of American movies that play here are all computer animation comic books and racing cars. Even Tom Hanks is rare here, but Vin Diesel is a superstar.

Really enjoyed the new Star Wars movie!

I’m going to see The Greatest Showman (Hugh Jackman) on Friday. He and Zac Efron (Who is also in it) did a crosswalk singing sketch of it with James Corden on his show.
Couldn’t find just TGS, but here is the entire thing:

I think I've mentioned this before (if I didn't, I meant to!), but if you haven't seen "Coco," it's glorious. Beautiful to look at, funny and moving. It just might make you cry at the end.

Should I see The Last Jedi ? I found Force Awakening disappointing and Rogue One was just a waste of time. I used to prefer Star Wars to Star Trek. Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back blew me away. But I have no enthusiasm for either anymore. I'd rather watch Voyager than all these new CG lens flare cartoons. That says a lot. Voyager was pretty bad.

Go see it! Don't listen to what the whining "fanboys" are saying about it. They're just mad because their fanboy theories didn't come true.

I don't care who is or isn't related to whom. Unless Finn really was Lando's son. That would be stupid.
I'm just tired of all the computer animation in lieu of a story.

Saw The Greatest Showman on Friday afternoon (Hugh Jackman as P.T. Barnum) Very enjoyable and the music is great - by the same guys who won an Oscar for LaLa Land.
