Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours

In that case, I'd love for Paul to eight-to-eleven shows in London. I'd be curious to see how he'd handle that challenge.
He did 11 shows at London's Wembley Arena in January 1990. I went to all of them. As far as I can recall, they all had exactly the same setlist. He wasn't even switching out a song or two every other night, like he has been doing lately. However, even with those identical set lists, I wouldn't change one moment of any of those shows, and I count all of them (plus 3 in Birmingham) as favorites on my list of Macca concert experiences.

I wish he did so many nights in either London or Liverpool again! How many shows have you seen altogether?
-
Guess that settles that.
-
Get a new opener, and get lovely rita out of the encore...and you've got a KILLER setlist there!
-
Sweet Brown must help out Paul with his setlist choices.... "How about Uncle Albert-- Ain't Nobody Got Time Fo Dat!!"

This is cool. Paul says the horn section on Wings Over America tour was just right for songs like SILLY LOVE SONGS and LISTEN TO WHAT THE MAN SAID. I wonder if he avoids those songs because he'll only play them with a horn section?

It's possible but, I doubt it. There's a lot of songs that had horns in the 70's live that he performs now.

If he can do Eleanor Rigby a million times with no real strings, he can do Silly Love Songs without real horns.

The May 22-23, 2011 concerts in Rio de Janeiro were announced on April 07 (a Thursday), six weeks in advance: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=79522&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=58 The April 21-25, 2012 concerts in Recife and Florianópolis were announced on March 22-23 (Thursday and Friday), just four weeks in advance: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=83907&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=13 http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=83906&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=01 The Secretary said yesterday in Fortaleza that the announcement will be made next Wednesday (March 20), which is a little over six weeks before the first concert in Belo Horizonte, on May 03. That fits the pattern of previous years, so I believe we can expect an an official announcent anytime between March 20 (six weeks in advance) and April 05 (four weeks in advance). By the way, a source said earlier today that Ringo will return to Brazil in November 2013. It seems this will be an expensive year for Beatles fans over here. Not that I'm complaining, of course!

How's it feel!? Just kidding, but that's how it was in the US last year. Luckily, Ringo was playing literally 15 minutes from my house so I splurged on 5th Row VIP package! But the trip to St. Louis for Paul was QUITE a fiasco...

It's looking like a great year for USA Beatle fans to save money!!

I sure hope not!

The funnier thing is that Paul sometimes talks in interviews as if he does put careful planning and consideration into his setlists like Noel. But really he meant "I switch Hello, Goodbye with Magical Mystery Tour and that's it."

Yes, I will be front row center at Bonnaroo; a $2,000 value. Wait, you cannot buy front row CENTER, so this will be priceless (plus the cost of the festival ticket, travel, etc).
