'Out There!' and the mention of "going to places they've never been before" is more relevant to your part of the world than anywhere else, I feel. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you. If he does a show in Korea, he may as well come to you, too.

They really consider Bonnaroo as standalone gig.
-
The fact that the tour name is similiar to the past three, and that they mention specifically new locations....makes me think very minimal setlist changes.

After everything... that would be incredibly disappointing and anticlimatic.
-
Yeah, with these locations I frankly only expect a 'On The Run'-like change: 'Junior's Farm' out for one solo chestnuts in the early set, few Beatles shake-ups in the middle part, and that's it. But let's see!
-
How can you guys go on and on about the setlists? You're watching a beatle performing his songs to you, goddammit!

I'd still go even if the setlist wasn't changed, but I think what we mean is he has such a huge catalogue of great songs he doesn't explore that much. When you mouth along and know exactly what is going to happen the predictability makes it less exciting. It's like getting the same present every single Christmas.

Hmmm, in my opinion, the upcoming schedule for Paul and his crew, could kinda' look a bit like this: April/May: (WINGS OVER AMERICA BOX SET RELEASE) May/June/July/August?: (THE EUROPEAN OUT THERE TOUR) June/July: (PAUL'S NEW STUDIO ALBUM) AUTUMN: ( SOUTH-NORTH AMERICAN TOUR) ------------------------------------ Though, absolutely nothing aint certain and confirmed yet, it actually, rather looks like very obvious and promising indeed, all this for me, but anything Can happen, of course'...lets just hope and Pray that this schedule of mine, might could be true. And...if it is true then, I really could Call myself, some sort of a: MindReader........
-
I hope you Danes get your promised rescheduled show! Though Paul is doing Bonneroo in June, too... would he really go all that way just for that? At the moment it seems like he's going to be jetting around quite a lot.

I have just replied to you and to someone else. I did not see a warning about PMs, there used to be one running across the screen.
I don't see warnmings either. This forum is pretty crappy tech-wise for Paul McCartney standards. You can't even embbed a bloody youtube video or stay logged in after a few hours.

True that.

There was a rumour about a press conference today announcing concerts in Brazil. I'm not sure who would be doing the announcement. Local promoters? The national tour promoter? Stadium administration? Politicians involved in the negotiations? It was not very clear. Anyway, now that a concert in Poland has been announced and it has been stated that more concerts will be confirmed in the coming weeks, I believe we will have news pretty soon. Check this out:

The "you have X private messages" runs across the top of the home page on the first instance after logging in - once you browse away from that page the notification disappears. For a more positive PM notification consider the options available to you within your Profile. You can request a Pop Up window with a notice of new messages:
Pop up window on new Private Message:
or even a e-mail alert:
Notify on new Private Message:

Thanks for the explanation, martinput!

Thanks Martin! I have it set "Pop up window on new Private Message: Yes". But nothing happened, I'll check if ABP is causing it.

Apparently, Brazil is back on the game! The governor of Ceará informed a few weeks ago that Belo horizonte would be the opening show of a new tour. Well, the new tour has been announced today, and it is rumoured for today the confirmation of the Brazilian leg. Let's see.

I'm waiting for that confirmation, even if it's not today.

FrankieJ:
By the way, is it normal for the website to announce shows NOT in chronological order?
Yes.
