Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours

Please Paul, just somewhere in the South (and I don't mean South America!) like Atlanta, Nashville or Charlotte!! Heck we even have a decent sized arena in Duluth, GA near me! I'm going there to see Clapton tomorrow!

I mean to an arena!!!!!! I am not about to go to an outside concert, in the dirt & mud, humidity and probably in the 90's and fight the general admission crowds!! (good luck audi!) If I was still in my 20's, yes, but not pushing 60 people!

RMartinez... you'll be happy in NM Spain...sadly...not on the list
Will use boardies be happy in Wisconsin? What month would you suppose we could be the happiest?

I dont McCartney playing an arena unless its too cold for stadiums. I don't know that there will be mud and fighting, it will be hot, but Paul is going on around 9:00. 60 is not too old to rock, Paul is 70!

But Paul has an air conditioner blowing onstage right at him after he has walked out from an air conditioned trailer where he was resting.

But Paul gets "Rockstar" treatment before & after the show! It's not the rocking that I can't take, it's what comes before it!

Thank You! You understand being near my age. I have to have an assigned seat in an arena or a stadium (2nd choice) None of this G.A. crap.

Don't come to Brazil then, Nan!

I understand, too, Nancy, even though you're older than I am (by a few days).

Will Lonely Road, a good month to visit Wisconsin would be July. Same city the Wayne and Garth went to see Alice Cooper
-
So, apparently the three contenders for the NY gigs are 1.) MetLife Stadium 2.) Citi Field 3.) Red Bull Arena (!) Citi Field or Red Bull Arena please!!!
-
Don't know why, but I got a gut feeling some US shows will be announced tomorrow.

One of the Brewers executives expressed interest in booking Paul when I contacted him a few years ago so I hope it still is on their radar, although I would prefer the Bradley Center. They should have the kinks worked out after the Kenny Chesney concert in May.

Thats the stadium right on the interstate on the right hand side coming into Milwaukee by way of Madison, no?

I have to have an assigned seat in an arena or a stadium (2nd choice) None of this G.A. crap. Here here to that! One reason I won't go to the closest show for me:San Francisco. All day events where you have to be out in heat all day to get a good spot. Not for me any longer. I did it for U2 twice in the last few years but it wasn't in summer heat and not zillions of bands playing. That worked for me. Got in the inner circle...7 people back. $50 GA. Not some outrageous festival price. I'm a little younger than 60 but not much and I can still rock with the best of them, but just not summer festivals. So I think Seattle will be my gig of choice, hope you are all right that we hear tomorrow or Friday.

That would be the one.

I think Paul will be announcing US shows soon! The Stones will be annoincing their brief US tour on Mon or Tues of next week, and those two will be battling each other in tix sales IMHO. I'm greedy and will see both
