Has anyone heard any rumours about a Vegas date for October?
Is there? I'm heading over there to see Ringo's shows on the 22nd and 23rd of Sept, straight after McCartney in Tokyo. Hell - could I handle a month in Vegas???
and I'm sure you meant to say that Ringo is playing Vegas in November, not Sept.

Ahem. yes. ops:

Unfortunately just wishful thinking for me, I have a bit of a feeling though that if he does do some US dates in Oct. that is one of them.

I hope you're going to see the Cirque du Soleil Beatles LOVE show! Look online now--they are advertising discounted tickets.

I second that hope! LOVE is a wonderful show and can't be missed if you're going all the way to Vegas. Not to mention the great little shop full of nothing but Beatles items there.

I've been lucky enough to see it 7 times! Each time I go to the United States, I give myself 2 days in LV. So I've seen Paul at the Joint there in 09, and Paul at the MGM Grand in 2011. LOVE is a MUST SEE! In fact the first time I saw it was 08, on the way to Paul at Anfield, Liverpool. We broke the travel time up with a stopover in LV, just to see LOVE!!! And yes, I will see it again, another 2 times in November!

Are you going this year? Have you seen it before? Or should I ask, how many times
-
The OUT THERE tour has totally neglected the southwest, Rocky Mountains region of the USA, so some shows in this area seem possible for October. If I was a betting man, I would say Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Maybe Salt Lake City, since McCartney seems to like to play cities where he has already performed.

"Only" once! No, not able to go this year.

I wonder if McCartney would consider playing cities like Wichita, KS, Boise, ID, Reno, NV, etc. Lubbock was mentioned in the New Mexico article as a possible stop, so maybe that could be revived.

I doubt the $$$ would be there for him.

True. He can still do Denver, Phoenix, Vegas and LA. There is money there!

I doubt it. Although he's never played in the state of Kansas.

Me too. Still, The Rolling Stones played Wichita.

Is this just creating false hope for Australia? http://www.mtv.com.au/news/paul-mccartney-to-tour-australia-2013-070813/ "British pop icon and ex-Beatle Sir Paul McCartney is thought to be making his first visit to Australia in over 20 years, with rumours of a tour as early as November. McCartney will be performing throughout Japan at the end of the year ? wrapping up on Thursday 21st November at Tokyo Dome ? so it would make sense for the musician to then make his way Down Under. Speculation of the rumoured tour peaked when Ticketek registered an online waitlist for information on a future Paul McCartney announcement....."

This is similar to him having played that festival outside of Nashville in June, so makes sense.

This is a good move for several reasons, mainly because these fests typically book only acts who currently have hit singles on the charts. This gig would tie in nicely with a fall album/single-release.

interesting and a bit odd--- since the festival is already sold out, adding Paul doesn't mean they are going to sell any more tickets, not to mention that his fanbase (US!!! ) is shut out of even buying any, unless they resort to scalpers/StubHub, etc. or have high-roller connections at the MGM, maybe. the timing does work with his appearance at the Shakespeare benefit in LA on 9/25, tho...

I agree. Plus iHeartRadio is owned by ClearChannel, a right-wing corporation.
