Any more rumours about Canadian dates??
Based on http://themaccareport.com/news/report.htm To Be Announced : July 23 - Quebec City, Canada - TBA July 27 - Ottawa, Canada- Scotiabank Place August 11 - Winnipeg, Canada - TBA August 14 - Regina, Canada - TBA
I just looked at maccareport and it says July 7 for Ottawa. Could that be right? The date you've listed makes more sense.
The Ottawa newspaper article says early July, so I suspect it's the 7th.

About an hour ago on Q104.3 in NY they said there would be a third show added at Barclays Center for 6/9. Anyone else hear this?
Highly unlikely that Paul would do three shows on consecutive nights.
Yeah, especially with Bonnaroo right around the corner. Will you be at any of the shows?
That's what I figured as well.
It wouldn't be 3 shows back to back. Show on the 8th, day off on 9th, show on the 10th. Entirely possible there could be a show on 11th or 12th before Bonnaroo. He has done two back to back before. Barclays center is available on both those dates.

While driving home tonight, I saw the teaser billboard that has been posted before the concert announcements in many of the American cities, in my city of Regina, Saskatchewan! The date across the bottom was 08-14-13! I AM SO EXCITED! The closest Paul has EVER played was in Winnipeg! Apparently people in my city have been tweeting about a huge concert announcement coming soon. This BETTER be true!
Official Announcements for Ottawa, Regina and Winnipeg said to be coming on Monday.
-
I know the announcement is supposed to be on Monday, but I wish I knew sooner! lol I will be so bummed if I can't see Paul on this tour.

Ottawa expected for early July according to Ottawa Citizen.
OTTAWA ? Live Nation will hold a press conference Monday where it is expected the concert promoter will confirm one, possibly two, concerts by Paul McCartney in early July at Scotiabank Place.
http://www.ottawacitizen.com/entertainment/music/Paul+McCartney+concert+announcement+expected+Monday/8266632/story.html The announcement is set for 6PM.
i was just coming on here to post about this! lol can't believe it, if it's true!!

I have tickets for the 8th...hope to get for the 10th as well. Which show(s) are you going to?

Not even so much as a rumour for Montreal? This city needs the Macca touch to cheer us up with all the municipal corruption scandals and usual political malaise. A McCartney concert is something that unites the city. I could really use a rumour at the very least.....
-
No more rumors for California? Los Angeles or San Diego?

I think 27th on the MaccaReport was a typo and it was later corrected.

The Ottawa newspaper says 1 show, maybe 2 - if there ARE two shows in Ottawa, the second would have to be on Saturday, the 6th, as Fenway is on the 9th. Got my fingers crossed, that would mean I might be able to attend 5 shows! I'm going to be broke in August.

I don't really count Outside Lands in San Francisco as actually being a big part of this tour, since it will not be an entire concert performance. As much as i would LOVE to see Paul, and only a couple of hours away, I just can't justify going to a festival with 30 other acts I have never heard of, and dealing with all the logistics that attending a large festival entails, only to hear a handful of songs. JMHO
when I last saw him in a festival he did his whole show, so I dont know what your referring to here.
Exactly. He'll do a full concert; it'll be the biggest show he does in the US all year. Six figure audience, seven figure take LOL. But, the bill at the festival is not that compelling. Big names but not rare appearances. Many are touring and playing all over the place.

I'm a little surprised that Minneapolis is not getting the rumored July 6 date since he seems to be trying to make good on cities he passed on in 2011 (e.g. Regina).

doesn't really matter who is. It's still a shame.
-
I agree and ultimately it is Paul, he is one of the few acts that can really control things if he chooses to.
-
I don't think he chooses to though. Do you think he even knows about the Horsens fiasco? I mean, we'll never know...
