YESSSSSSSSSSSS! 100.7 Baltimore's Classic Rock Station just posted THIS: Major Concert Announcement tomorrow at 6am: can you guess who?
For Baltimore? It would be cool if Paul played there instead of DC.

I doubt it's actually in Baltimore. 100.7 still covers DC's concerts since it is less than an hour for us. I'm sure it's Verizon Center or Fedex Field (technically in MD) But there's finally a DATE attached! WOO! And sorry the pic didn't come thru...fb is weird sometimes. It's the promo pic currently on the main page but it's macca's silouette and it says "OUT THERE 7.12.13"

Yeah, that picture is a dead giveaway - nice of them to put the date there as well. as well as the hash tag #outthere So it appears we have Austin being announced today, a metro DC show tomorrow, Memphis on Monday. I need that Orlando date. I'm out of town end of next week, i'll be bummed if i'm gone when tickets are being pre-sold. RamblinRed

Is Indianapolis still on the radar? That's the only one I would be able to make, and I keep waiting to make my summer vacation plans until I find out about that.

Europe population: 739,165,030 America population: 313,914,040 Europe, an entire continent, gets just 3 shows. America, it sounds like, will be getting a lot more. How is this fair exactly? Who had Christmas shows just a few months ago instead of Europe? North America. I?m not saying Americans don?t deserve to see Paul, they do. I just think the order in which we?re seen is incredibly uneven and unfair. They should at least match the amount of European dates with the amount of US dates and make it even... purely out of fairness. Otherwise it suggests to fans over here that we're not as important. I don't think I'm going to bother looking/getting my hopes up anymore.

It hasn't been "shot down" so to speak...but there haven't been any venues or dates to add further validity to it beyond the initial leaking of dates from Beatlefan.

Except you're forgetting that the shows we got last year totaled five. We got 5 shows last year. Five. Mine was not a Christmas show. And you do realize the United States and Europe are practically the same size.

Europe's population is over double of Americas and you sound as if I'm suggesting Europe should get more shows than America... I am not. I'm suggesting we should get just as many as America. What with the multiple America rumours, it seems like you'll be getting a lot more than 3.

It seems like this will mostly be a U.S. tour with a few south american shows and a few European shows. Perhaps europe will get their shows in the fall when the new album comes out.

Quebec City newspaper Le Soleil says he will play Plains of Abraham (like he did in 200 July 23.

I don't think they can get away with this "we're going to places we've never been to before" thing if this tour is going to be primarily America again. It's not a world tour at all. It's led us to believe it will be different, but it seems like it won't be really. Maybe they should realise that they should stop chasing the dollar and start thinking "Hmm. Paul is loved all over the world. Paul is also 70. He's not got many years of touring left. Maybe we should share him out fairly to his fans so they can see him while they still can."
-
Now there's a good rumor! Nice.
-
Expect an Austin, TX announcement within the hour.
-
yep; friend of mine got an invite to the Austin press conference to announce for 11 am Central time (12 noon Eastern).

What you're saying makes sense. You do have to figure it's probably easy for him to tour the U.S. as he is 70. We should be lucky he's still 'Out There' and if I were you I'd try to get to one, two, or all three of the European shows he is doing. Though I know cause I've been there, that is not always possible. Hopefully more shows in Europe after the summer.

Hmmm. Already bought tickets for Boston on the 9th. Is it possible I may get to see him twice in one week? Anybody know if/when NYC is rumored?
