Dont everyone get ur hopes too high for this spring as Clapton is on tour and he usually has Abe on drums
Clapton also uses Steve Gadd
How 'bout this: I'll bless a one-time swap of Abe/Steve -- only if Steve convinces Paul to play "Take It Away" (Steve played on the record).

Abe hasn't toured with Clapton since 2008, and he isn't on this tour if you read the itinerary.

I'm sorry- I must have missed that. Where in the itinerary does it have the band lineup?

Since the Grammys are in February, does anyone think we could see the next album before then and he'll play some of it in promotion for it like he did in 2007?

That wasn't really for promotion was it? Chaos and Creation had been out a few years by then...don't think we'll have an album by February anyway. Nice thought tho!

Barclay Center Brooklyn, Hartford, CT or Mohegan Sun Casino, CT, Providence, RI, Albany, NY, Syracuse, NY, Buffalo, NY, Boston, MA, Newark, NJ

That could be a whole tour for Paul! However, these regions have had a lot of accessibility to concerts since 2009, so I can't say I'm that sympathetic to them...New York gets him one way or another every year, Boston had him in '09...

*No Introduction* Wow That was a REALLY cool piano Paul used.... Maybe he could use that during [size=7]Hey Jude...

Syracuse and Buffalo are a long way from NYC and he's never played there. He hasn't been to Connecticut since 2002 and CT is 100 miles away from Boston and NYC; that's a considerable distance for some people. I figure because the Barclay center in Brooklyn is new he will end up there soonish.

Oh I know! I'm just saying, it's not like he hasn't been playing in the general tri-state area...the poor fans in Australia, Japan and, DENMARK really deserve him the most right now and I thoroughly hope he goes there before returning to the Americas. I have a feeling Barclay Center will end up happening soon enough too. They're getting a LOT of big names...

Australia and New Zealand is WAAAAAY overdue. He hasn't been to Japan in quite a while either, and I agree, he should go to those places.

Now, I'm not going to excuse Paul of the long absence from Australia.. But he should really branch out to places he's never been. Like Hungary, Alaska, Hawaii, CHINA (But it seems unlikely) India, (and yes, he was there in the 60's..) Horsens, (he was there in '04, but they were so rudely cancelled this year...) Also, a tour name idea for me is "Raising The Bar" or "Setting The Bar"...

He's been to Hungary once (2003), but I'd be happy if he came again. It's usually me who is on the run to see him.
