The ..2012.... Political thread

Well, in my book, Obama still looks almost like Jesus compared to that motley crew. Is that the best (or worst) the Elephant party could come up with?!!
-
Well, that was a lot of fun. Pointing out the obvious that the crew who support Faux news is less engaged intellectually is always good for a laugh. So obvious because republican/conservatism has been tried and has failed dramatically . Their non-regulation, run amok privatization and unfair taxation policies has lead to global economic chaos. The wealthy have flourished. Yet they gain most of their support from the very people their policies hurt. I have asked over and over on this thread ...Why is it that the average person would support the republican/conservatives? All I get is crickets. They don't know how the republican agenda benefits their lives at all. That kind of cluelessness doesn't need to be supported by any polls . It's common sense to recognize it. The fact that they continue to advocate for the same policies that have been so dramatic in their failure shows blatant disconnect. Looks like I'm not alone in my assessment of the republicans...from the international press "The Republicans are a club of Liars, Demagogues and Ignoramus" http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/0,1518,800850,00.html I agree, they are a total embarrassment to the US

Polls show people who watch Fox news are 18% less informed than those who watch other channels.. This was done by a independent university.

Yes- that would be FDU, which speaks volumes to the validity of their 'poll'...The funny part was the fact that they didn't even know the correct response to their own question...I guess they watch FOX News too...LOL

Ed Schultz claims it's strange that he's never seen a wife of a political candidate come to the rescue of her husband - claiming that this is "a new low in American politics." I think that the "Ed Show" host has been smokin'/taking MSNBC (crack/lsd) so long that it's shorted his memory ... Need I say it ... Hillary Clinton going on 60 minutes "to stand by her man" running for President against his women accusers. Jennifer Flowers Paula Jones and dozens of others ...

Yes, CBS always knows better what Russia needs -- useless managers. I wonder what's a 'charity' she's doing -- feeding homeless dogs? Also, 'Lepleiskaya' seems like a made-up surname. American journalists never really bother to learn a proper Russian.

^^^and now the left fights against news agencies reporting on happenings around the world...LOL

I'd like for anyone who defends the Bush tax cuts* to consider this point of view:
*=You know, those cuts that created zero jobs and added to the deficit -- obliterating Clinton's surplus? -
^^^Funny thing, one of Bush's 'problems', (i.e. 'Bawney' Frank) is stepping down...he single handidly brought down this economy with his 'brilliant' housing market ideas...LOL...A democrat...but but but...it was under Bush's watch, right...LOL

Sometimes Dems and the GOP are like Bonnie & Clyde: -NAFTA (yep! Ross Perot was right!) -mortgage lending bill in '97 -Both sides bought George W. Bush's b.s. that led to the Iraq War
