Maybe - but God doesn't love Obama...LOL...this whole contraceptive thing is going to be a friend to the conservatives come next November (although in reality, it actually won't make it that far since 'Obamacare' will be a dead issue as of next June...LOL) Say...are you part of Media Matters? LOL - good luck with that

Btw, I find it repugnant that the left's definition of women's health means abortion on demand...as well as the gov't's ordacity to claim to know more about a woman's state of health more than either the medical field or women themselves...thus dictating the who's and how's as far as contracptives are concerned

You do see what they buy with their food stamps -right?
Always been the complaint about people on welfare. They set these programs up and then society decides to be the judge and jury. If people know people are on welfare they think it there business to watch them and make sure there not living any kind life that would not be in "their" opinion acceptable. I seen neighbors on my street take a tax break by a person dying of cancer and who income qualifies them for a deduction on property taxes. Stick it into our mailboxes trying to shame these people. Its disgusting. I also question that this bill is real because I don't think that ( don't know for fact) that food stamps are listed on a bill of sale. If it was real I think we can assume that it was a family cerebration and not a regular meal. Take a family member out for a birthday and see how much that will run you. Also I would question anyone would get more than that amount for the month. What your probable seeing is a food card sold to a drug dealer for drugs and there using it up before it expires. Some people don't think a person on food stamps should be able to buy coke or chips.. How much can the government control and really how high on the hog can your get on a 150 a month stipend. Focus on the banks thieving that where the real tax payer money is going.

Say what ever you will about any of the canditates - when compared to Obama each one of them is a much better choice by far ---- At the last Sept.11 memorial - no ministers were allowed to speak even a few words by NYC Mayor Bloomberg. Obama stepped up gladly to deliver a message from the Bible as a minister, rabbi, bishop, prophet, cardinal, pastor ... who also has revealed himself (on a number of occasions) as an anti-faith/religion politician (person) Talk about excommunicating people of all faiths He could have reversed the decision by refusing to speak unless ministers were also able to speak - but he did not ...

Receipt is real and he wasn't buying chips and soda...in fact, in looking into it more closely, there's even more (scumminess) to the story: http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/government/ss/Lobster-Steak-Food-Stamp-Receipt.htm

Here the awesome Clint Eastwood ad:
(over 9 million views..yowzah!) don't know what the uproar was about maybe good time to show vid of Paul accepting Gershwin prize at The Whitehouse when he made a joke about our ex-pres same response total over-reaction by the wingnutsThe uproar was due to a happy coincidence: The ad followed The President's State-Of-The-Union Address, and he touted how healthy the American car-manufacturing industry is -- thanks to the bail-out. Republicans don't like good economic news when it's on a Democrat's watch. They are babies.
Although whether it's "your guy (or gal)" in office or not, does anyone seriously want to see the economy fail just to prove that their political point is "correct". That always puzzles me........................

When it comes to our well being and disagree with the actions of our gov't, we always hope to be proven wrong...despite the fact there was little doubt we would be...I'd much rather be enjoying a good time of prosperity rather than 'bragging' that the president you elected failed us...the melodramatic baloney (ie 'we wanted failure') is just a mechanism to avoid having to admit you were wrong and this country is failing as a direct result of decisions your elected president made...being 'proven right' is a small consolation to having the bear the eff'd up times we're now thrown in

Tough Tymes By Hannah Roberts 19th February 2012 With the economy on its knees, many American families have had to forgo their annual holiday just to make ends meet. "Where are the jobs, Mr. President?" So wailed then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi when the unemployment rate was about 6 percent toward the end of President Bush's term. Different president, same question. ... The U.S. unemployment rate, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, is 9.0% in mid-February," Gallup said in its mid-month unemployment survey, released on February 17. http://monicamemo.typepad.com/weblog/

Wasn't that supposedly the issue that won the Republicans control of the House in the mid-term elections? And, yet, they fight the President tooth-and-nail on ALL of his jobs initiatives. And if tax breaks for the rich -- er, excuse me -- job creators ("coughcoughbullshitcoughcough") is such a beneficial strategy, why was there ZERO job-creation under Bush? Zero.

This would seem to contradict 'zero' "Total private employment in 2000 was 110,995,000, and in 2008 was 114,566,000, leading to an increase of 3,571,000. Total government employment, over the same period, changed from 20,790,000 to 22,500,000, for a net increase of 1,710,000."

Shoulda' cited a source instead of talking off the top of my head. Obama Created More Jobs In One Year Than Bush Created In Eight http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2011/01/07/137866/obama-more-jobs-bush/?mobile=nc "As the Wall Street Journal noted in the last month of Bush?s term, the former president had the ?worst track record for job creation since the government began keeping records.? And job creation under Bush was anemic long before the recession began. Bush?s supply-side economics ?fostered the weakest jobs and income growth in more than six decades,? along with ?sluggish business investment and weak gross domestic product growth,? the Center for American Progress? Joshua Picker explained. ?On every major measurement? of income and employment, ?the country lost ground during Bush?s two terms,? the National Journal?s Ron Brownstein observed, parsing Census data."

Shameful I think to disparage food stamps when there are so many hungry children in the U.S. Course the right thinks nobody is really "poor" in the U.S. Looks like "compassionate conservatism" is just a pipe dream and wild goose chase, mostly It's gonna be interesting (and awful) if that Santorum person wins over Mitt Romney tonight in Romney's home state of Michigan. I've read up on Romney and he's not nearly as bad as Rick S., so I hope Mitt wins. The latest outrageous thing I read about Santorum (what kind of name is that? What nationality, do you think? I know he's American but...you know what I mean, I've never heard of that surname previously) is that he's putting down college educations and calling Obama a "snob" for his pro-higher education stance! Reminds of that v.p.. long ago, Nixon's I think (?) calling college students, professors, intellectuals in general "elite snobs." Or "effete snobs" I think that was it.
