Shall we start with all the married Republican gay-sex scandals? Or shall we, first, discuss how sooooo many of these "religious and social conservatives" are on their second and third marriages?
Why do liberals attack peripheral topics instead of topics that will help the citizen who could give a flip about who slept with who....Notice how Bill Clinton's frequent flier program is hardly brought up
You do realize he was responding to yet another out-of-nowhere, posted-without-comment conservative-slanted piece by Andy Shofar, right? You mind telling me how the alleged purchase of Cubans by JFK is a topic that will help people "who could give a flip about who slept with who" (sic)? Or could you at least explain how you can, in all sincerity, criticize someone for mentioning something as "peripheral" as infidelity, then pull a complete 180 and make a Clinton crack? You can feign outrage, you can sink to "liberal depravity," but you can't do both.

Books, movies, articles, TV programs - are watched, sold, & read which zero in on someone fidelity (more often than not the show host is a lib). You can't have it both ways Again this is a political thread - all posts do not have to have everyones approval. President's of the past & present are especially interesting this year

I don't give Kennedy the proverbial blow-job that others do. Not only are most liberals keenly aware of our favorite leaders' flaws; we are not in denial, refusing to acknowledge them -- unlike the Reagan crusaders. Your mentioning Kennedy's bumping uglies with an intern is not a news flash. We don't care.

quiz who gave a blow-job to the dead president?

Now... ...back to my post about the drug-trafficking CIA: Your thoughts?

Sounds like this could be a cocaine/money punch-line coming...

Actually it's very logical to have it 'both ways'...both parties have members that need to grow up in a moral sense...but it's much more often libs who point out the misgivings of a conservative's private live rather than the other way around...I basically liken it to when you see the grammar police come out on thes message boards and hammer at someone's grammar because in reality, they have nothing else to say - same idea except politicians know that the most of the masses are sheep and will follow. They have the ability to say something as innocent and benign as 'so and so eats cornflakes for breakfast' and present it in such a negative light...that many of these 'sheep' will gasp as if it's truly something evil

^^^actually meant to quote another Audi post with my comments above...but it's within the same chain and I'm sure you'll figure it out

Kind of like the sheep that went crazy about Clint Eastwood's Super Bowl ad? In all seriousness, you make perfectly valid points, I only took issue with the fact that you took exception to a supposed instance of liberals cutting down conservatives when in fact Audi brought it up in response to a post that said little more than 'Hey! Here's another girl that JFK doinked in the White House!' What is that supposed to do other than annoy the other side?

What's going to be the fate of 'Obamacare' once SCOTUS gets a hold of it this June? I think the events of the past week or so has gone far to show how constitutionally 'unfit' (LOL) Obamacare really is
-
What was Clint Eastwood's commercial at the Super Bowl, what did it comprise? Thanks for info. I heard there was something anti-Obama?

It aired during halftime and it comprised Eastwood giving a speech about how "It's halftime for America," and given that it was a Chrysler ad, it played up the resurgence of the U.S. automobile industry and what that foretells for the country in general. Eastwood says America's second half will be better than the first. This chafed conservatives who maintain the auto bailout (remember "Government Motors?") was the wrong course of action and made some feel that the ad's underlying "second-half" theme was an endorsement for a second term for the president.

Here the awesome Clint Eastwood ad:
(over 9 million views..yowzah!) don't know what the uproar was about maybe good time to show vid of Paul accepting Gershwin prize at The Whitehouse when he made a joke about our ex-pres same response total over-reaction by the wingnuts -
Thanks 'Media Matters' - you're a scummy organization...but you may have just undermined the liberal platform as well as give the conservative party a nice boost all in one nicely wrapped package...LOL

(over 9 million views..yowzah!) don't know what the uproar was about maybe good time to show vid of Paul accepting Gershwin prize at The Whitehouse when he made a joke about our ex-pres same response total over-reaction by the wingnutsThe uproar was due to a happy coincidence: The ad followed The President's State-Of-The-Union Address, and he touted how healthy the American car-manufacturing industry is -- thanks to the bail-out. Republicans don't like good economic news when it's on a Democrat's watch. They are babies.

Well, folks, Foster Friess (Santoum's money-man) is a neanderthal dumb-ass. I am utterly stunned that he said this on national television...to a female journalist, at that: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/santorum-backer-foster-friess-day-gals-used-aspirin-193938581.html

OK, politics aside, I laughed so hard that I spit out Diet Coke when I clicked that link.
