All terrible. Definitely. But my focus was mainly from Clinton to the present.
Fair enough.
My point is that both republicans and democrats screw up. When we elect a president we ask them to make the best decisions at the time. And that isn't always easy whether they are democrat or republican. I've voted both ways btw.
-
nobodys perfect everybody screws up at times. The Democrats have accomplished some great things...what have the republicans accomplished in modern times besides making the rich richer?
-
Besides a 46-year history of mounting debt and obstructing entitlement programs legislation for taxpayers?
-
And I thought "jobs" were going to be the focus of the new Congress. Republican voters -- fooled yet again. Republican politicians talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk.
-
Why not ask some of the citizens of the former Soviet Union??
Ask some citizens of China what they think. Ask the citizens of Germany while you're at it. Some would tell you that they are better off now than they were ever before. There's nothing wrong with that imo. Simply because they were not initiated by a "democrat" does not make them less valuable in the eyes of the world.

The 'Litmus Test' for 'Facts' to many on the Left is 'I Think, I Feel, I Believe'. If it meets at least one, its good to go
All points fail - Let's debunk some of the myths created by the 'libby libby libby on the label label labels' right now, shall we: 1) "Reagan is responsible for the savings and loans disaster with deregulation" ...wrong - the Democratic controlled congress caused the savings and loan disaster with deregulation 2) "Reagan secretly sold weapons to Iraq/Saddam and the Afghans" Wrong - they were not sold in secret...they were our allies..a partnership developed under the Carter Admin and embraced by Reagan in support of our issues with Iran and the former Soviet Union...Nothing we gave the Afghans or Iraqis aided in any way the formation of the political entities of the Taliban or Al Qaeda (Bin Laden was in Sudan at the time - offered to us on a platter by the Sudanese, a gift that was rejected by that clown cartoon character Bill Clinton during his admin) 3) "Reagan destroyed the USA's manufacturing base" - A full fledged liberal lie...Bush Sr and Clinton share those honors. 4) "Regan created 'Trickle Up economics which did a great job benefitting the rich and keeping the middle class down" Horse Hockey for the lazy liberal socialists who were born never to do well...and still spew the nonsense to this day. 5) "Deregulation led to a country where special interest groups got richer and the average guy got screwed by the market speculators and large corps" The answer to number 4 applies here too 6) "This deregulation led to the largest 'personal debt' this country has ever known - with bankruptcies and foreclosures the norm" ROLF - deregulation leads to personal debt like chocolate leads to orangutans - talk about a discombobulated thought
Reagan's strong points were that he was a great delegator of authority and orator...His greatest success was getting the ball rolling in finally defeating the empire of the Soviet Union. That might be why the liberal socialists hate him so much - he destroyed their brethen
:
Lastly - Carter left the country, the manufacturing base, the oil industry and the military in a shambles. It was a period of real hopelessness and double digit inflation annually. Regan turned it around and democrats point to HIM as the problem even though that dumbass liver-lipped peanut farmer they elected made the economic recovery under Reagan something of a minor miracle (even considering the increased national debt).

I hope she gets the nomination...would be a fun election. Even with her incompetence for the position many repubs would vote for her because intelligence and competence doesn't matter to them all they care about is ideology. I remember a repub on this thread (I won't mention names) saying that he could relate to her because she was just like him. God help us.

She may not know that Africa is a continent full of countries (not a country unto itself)...but I'm pretty sure she's aware there are 50 states in the good ol' US of A
I wouldn't vote for her - but it would be a wash compared to what we have right now

American Way: Republicans tell Barack Obama 'You?re no Ronald Reagan' By Toby Harnden ... Perhaps more surprising is that there is a new claimant to the Reagan throne this year: President Barack Obama. Having once routinely derided Reagan as, in the words of Democratic greybeard Clark Clifford, an ?amiable dunce?, the liberal establishment is now seeking to embrace him. ... complete article: http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/tobyharnden/100074903/american-way-republicans-to-barack-obama-you%e2%80%99re-no-ronald-reagan/

And Obama tells Bill O'Reilly today that he's not worried if Muslim Brother takes control of Egypt...For all you 'peace, love and rock'n'rollers', that would be a disaster - especially in regards to Israel

And I've seen what you heard - turns out you don't agree with Sarah in that Obama is smoking dope with his assertion that terrorists are people too and deserves rights...and that we should shake Bin Laden's hand and ask for their forgiveness for whatever we did to make them mad and fly airplanes into our buildings...but then again, you're more than likely a 'truther' who doesn't believe terrorists did that either (it was the boogieman gov't, right?? - wink wink)

I can respect these answers. You're a dedicated conservative -- somewhat blinded by your principles -- but, at least, you have them -- and you do stick to them. Again, Rich: You give me hope. You know what's so ironic about liberals and conservatives? The core of our platforms is the same thing: Keeping government out of our lives. Go figure.

I believe that obl was a poor little rich kid who spent his generous family allowance on making war with another nation instead of spending it on relief programs and constructive education for his fellow countrymen.

Regardless of whenever his (Osama's) life went off track...there's no doubt that 'off track' is where it's definitely at

Don't try to presume what I think..I think for myself. Save your effort to try to construct a coherent sentence or paragraph for a change.
