WOO HOO! WOLVES HAVE WON THE FA CUP! Oh wait... it was only a come-from-behind win against non-league Cambridge in the 3rd Round. Neill Collins netting the winner in the 88th minute for a 2-1 win at Molineux. How many more rounds 'til Wolves win the Cup? Currently watching Ipswich-Portsmouth on tv (very harsh red card for Liam Trotter) and Bristol City-Middlesbrough on p2p.

The Liverpool Football Club saga is carrying on apace.....the question is are Hicks and Gillett a spent force.....90% of the fans want them out (not a good sign)......or is it Rafa's fault or indeed is it the previous board who should hang their heads, after all they allowed the new owners in. We are lurching from one sorry mess to another and fast becoming a laughing stock.....H and G seem to have no money (after promising so much.....you'd think the previous board of directors and shareholders would have asked them for proof of their finances or to turn out their pockets), especially during this credit crunch period in world economics.....they are bargaining with Royal Bank of Scotland (a right bunch of toerags and 'merchant bankers' ) for funding which will tip Liverpool into a £100 million plus debt with huge repayments at the currents rates and result in a much scaled down version of the spectacular new stadium they promised because building costs are escalating. All this after sabotaging the managers position by stating they appraoched Jurgen Klinsman to take over in the summer of 2008, before JK buggered off to Bayern Munich.....shaking his head in disbelief.....these guys really don't understand the Liverpool way....which is problems stay behind closed doors and are sorted out behind closed doors. My solution.......their position is untenable.....that's the whole sorry lot of them......a bus please for the American owners, the former owners and the manager......and off to the nearest cliff with them all.......then bring in The Dubai Investment Capital money and watch the club fly.....if not then there may be some real estate available soon in and around Stanley Park, Liverpool. Anybody feel this sounds familiar....are Hicks and Gillett in this for only the money.....investing in their American interests, using LFC as a cash cow or are they for real?

On to Round 5 as Wolves thrash Watford 4-1 at Vicarage Road! And the magic of the FA Cup is truly alive and well as Liverpool knock out Havant & Waterlooville 5-2. Who would've thought! Well, it was tough to tell in the first half which side were the non-leaguers.

The fab Andres Iniesta has signed with Barça till 2014 (when he is 30). I don't know if he will move now to a more expensive town than this one. Another great player that won't play in Real Madrid.
-
No need for Barcelona to pay millions for Cesc when they have 'Palido' Iniesta. Although they may need a midfielder if they decide to let Deco go. Diego from Werder Bremen would look nice in blaugrana. And with Zambrotta likely going to Milan this summer, Lahm of Bayern and Maicon of Inter are two names that rumors have Barça going after. I'll take the versatile Lahm. Didier Drogba to Barça? Highly doubt it. Karim Benzema to Barça? Nice thought but not likely. Loris Arnaud to Barça? hmmm...

Qual Ronaldo?

well, Cristiano Ronaldo, the good looking Ronaldo... not the others... Fab game between Real Madrid and Villareal 3-2. Real Madrid was pure chaos and creation like in the best times, with seven players inside Villareal even when winning. Definitely, nor Diarra nor Gago, can't play the ball for the team, so that's greatly done by long Cannavaro passes or runs of Sergio Ramos and once the ball is near the rival's area there are a lot of players attacking. 16th game won in a row in Santiago Bernabeu, a lot of points above the rest of teams and great play except somedays, especially against the worst teams.

o cristiano, é porque os gringo chamam o cristiano de "ronaldo", na verdade o mais dinamico é o futebol ingles, na minha opinião, o jogo é muito mais rápido e movimentado por conta da baixo numero de faltas, e também pela qualidade dos jogadores, o futebol brasileiro sempre teve mais cadência e mais toque de bola, qual é seu time? and about real madrid, robinho is playing very well, he got alot more consistant this season!

Two interesting facts from this weekend's FA Cup 4th round: 1) There were no draws, all 16 games finished with a winner. This is the first time this has happened since 1957. 2) Only 6 of the remaining 16 teams left in the cup are Premier League teams. Here's hoping they all draw each other in the 5th round, meaning only 3 of the 8 quarter finalists would be from the premier league. read this somewhere...

Very glad that Tottenham were beaten by Manchester United at the weekend!!! Think that Arsenal are having a much better season than last year. In fact, I don't even want to talk about last season.
