I still think Madrid will win
That's fine. But you have been proven wrong. There was no need for Rijkaard to start focusing on the Champions League and Copa del Rey so soon.
yeah maybe I was wrong... as a Barcelona fan you should allways belive that you can get there, I mean, last year it happened the other way around

Hey "best" is subjective, there's no way of knowing "who was the best" or "who played the best". It's sport, not art and there are some rules that decide a winner. Anyway for Real Madrid winning is not enough. And it's not everything. So Capello was out, as he was the last time he won Spanish League with Real Madrid, as other coaches have been fired in Real Madrid, after winning the League, The Champions League or being leaders in the league. Real Madrid differs from Barça that we don't see it all black or white (winners/losers). We can win and not being satisfied at all.
"Best" may be subjective, but "lucky" isn't. And the manner in which Real won the league, with all those last minute goals and Braca giving up late goals to Betis and Espanyol, was definately luck. Real Madrid are trying hard - very hard - to emulate Cruyff's Dream Team of the early 90s. Very hard.
Man, "lucky" is subjective too. I think it was because the Real Madrid players were more of a team than Barça players. Internal conflicts, etc. I don't think Madrid tries to be like Dream Team, they don't play similar at all, they just don't have the players to do something similar. Maybe only Guti and Robinho.

Barcelona 5 Levante 1 Real Madrid 0 Getafe 1 ... One of the most hilarious goals I've ever seen. I've never laughed so hard in my life. Barcelona now 2 points behind Real Madrid with 13 games to play.
I didn't laugh as much as you but I laughed and it still makes me smile now. I've never (ever!) seen a goal like that, that will go down in history as "that goal received by Real Madrid...". I think the cause behind it was my fav player ever, Getafe's coach, Michael Laudrup. The best passer ever. He sometimes kicked free kicks with a pass in a fast way when the other teams expected a shoot to goal or for the other team to wait a little, you know. He did even to Brazil, and Denmark scored in the World Cup quarterfinals. I didn't see it but it seems Messi passed more. part of Laudrup's "magic"

"Internal conflicts"... Everyone keeps going on about that. If it was so bad Eto'o would no longer be with Barça. If Real were such a better team they would have finished with more points and got the job done earlier in some of those games instead of having to rely on so many late goals. One of those late goals came at home against Espanyol. Real won 4-3 but Espanyol was leading 3-1 and they were playing their second squad because they were resting the regulars for the UEFA Cup final against Sevilla. Yet Real still struggled to beat them. : Which do you think is the better method of seperating teams level on points in league standings? "Marcador global" between the two teams or goal difference?

When you say "for Real Madrid winning is not enough" or Real "can win and not being satisfied" that can mean only one thing; to play attractive football. Jogo bonito. That what Cruyff's Barcelona team was known for. And that's why Real spent so much money on new players. To try and bring in players who have the ability to play like Cruyff's team. But they've haven't play as expected and have only looked good in three games this season: 5-1 against Valencia, 7-0 against Valladolid; and 3-2 against Villarreal. Even if Real win the league, don't be surprised if Schuster is sacked like Capello was.

If they wanted pretty football, then why did they get Capello, he is certenly a winner, but his teams never played beautiful football.. :

I've already lived through it... three times! On the the last day of the Liga seasons in [1992/93](

That's a question for Paul, not me. But from what I've heard, Real had gone three years without a trophy and were desperate to stop Barcelona. So they hired Capello and went for ugly victories rather for winning with beautiful play. The same thing happened when Real brought in Capello in 1994. Barca had won four leagues in a row and Real were desperate to win the league back. On both occasions (1995 and 2007) Capello got the job done. So with the title in their hands now, Real sacked Capello with his ugly football and brought in a new coach in an effort to try and not just win the league, but look good while winning it. It didn't work in 1996, and that's why I say that even if Real win the league again this season, Schuster will probably get the sack because his teams don't play jogo bonito.

Consider this to be your education then. And why do you use the " : " here? It's not my fault that there was no international football on tv. In 1994 Deportivo were leading the league on the last day of the season but were drawing 0-0 with Valencia. They gained a penalty in the 89th minute but Miroslav Djukic had his penalty saved. At the same time, Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 5-2 to overtake Depor and win the league... the third consecutive season Barcelona won the league after going into the last day of the season in second place. Last season doesn't compare as far as great finishes to a La Liga season.

Yeah, but they should not have fired him then.. Anyway thats why the English team hired him also, they are in need of trophies... :

I totally agree. I felt Capello was treated unfairly when they let him go. As for England... again, I agree. It remains to be seen if he can bring them a trophy. But I don't expect them to play like Brazil or Argentina. Even Italy will probably play better football than them. But if he can win England the World Cup then he'll be knighted... if that's possible.

Finally we agree at something Acctualy in my opinion the national team playing better football now is Germany, maybe Argentina... Brazil does some good games, but only against weak teams, Dunga is kinda like Capello too :

They didn't show international football on tv in Brazil?! We got a little bit here in the U.S. I remember watching Barcelona win the league on those three occasions in the 1990s. I can't believe Globo TV or whatever the big network in Brazil is didn't show any international football. You people live for futebol.

Nope, nothing, in that time we use to go to stadiums more (thats why Maracanã had at least 150000 people each game), we had some very nice players playing here like Bebeto, Romário, Taffarel, Dunga, Zico ... Globo still doesnt show ANY international football, I watch it in the ESPN chanals :

Isn't Felipão Scolari worse than Dunga? That's what Michelle Belle (Love Sculpture) said on this board a couple of years ago. That he was a very defensive-minded coach. I felt Argentina was the best team at the 2006 World Cup. I still think they are the most fun to watch. Even during the Copa America. Germany is good. I l;ike watching them. But I think Spain plays very good too. Holland has the talent to play good. I haven't watched them lately, though.

Well as a Colorado I do not like Felipão They are mostly the same... The press here acctualy makes some jokes about them being so similar... At least Felipão won a world cup for us... Yeah Holand and Spain have a nice team too! Acctualy England has an amazing team, but they just seem to not fit together... :
