^^ yes, it is a play on words, thinking of travel and your name too. Hope your sister is okay too. I am thinking I cannot wait to move out West. That thought is the only thing that keeps me movtivated these days.

I am wondering where a safe place to live would be in Las Vegas? I have had suggestions, but looking around.

Thank you for your thoughts on my sister!!! I am thinking of selling my house and moving to Europe.

^^ if Trump wins and I have a way out of here, I am leaving too! It makes me cry to think he will be President. It scares me.

As much as it pains me to say this, it doesn't look good guys!

Me too Kittay His behavior is everything, that is what I was brought up not to accept and to speak out against...all of my life. Unacceptable.

We have a new president tonight who isn't for ripping up innocent babies from their mother's wombs. That's a good thing for America.

People who said they wanted change from the Washington elites and their corruption thought Hillary Clinton was the answer...Its hard to even type that with a straight face...I would agree Trump probably isn't the right answer either...but he's a better place holder until Washington gets the message

Hi jennywren! Yes, we have a President that isn't for ripping up innocent babies from their mother's wombs which is a good thing for America. However, our President needs to have more respect for women.
-
^^ and who is going to pay for the babies who are not aborted jennywren? Are you going to pay for them all to be raised to 18 years old then put them through college? Or is Donald Trump going to pay for them? No! President Trump will just continue grabbing women by their private parts, because he can. ð??º

Yes, the GOP seems to only care for the embryo and fetus, not for the actual baby, what happens to the baby after it's born

Don't live in the tourist part with all the big glittery attractions on the "main drag" boulevard Dwell in a more normal regular seeming part, not very close to all the all night excitement. A quieter neighborhood.

Kittay I agree with you, The government has no business meddling in a woman's personal decisions. Forcing women who are raped and then get pregnant, to bear an unwanted child. I wonder how many anti abortionists have stepped up to adopt babies born of rape, or even babies that women have had to give up for adoption because they are not able to care for them until the age of 18. There are millions of orphans in Africa, whose parents have died of AIDS. I'm also wondering how many have stepped up to help support orphan children? There are millions.

Why would Washington get the message? How many congressmen were reelected? If you're in the senate for 30 years, you see a lot of presidents come and go. There's no reason for them to change when people keep voting for them.

Yes, of course. The way the people there drive is crazy! I would have to take a bus to work cause I am not driving near the Strip, where I will be working. Looking up all my options even more hastily now. Of all the craziness of Las Vegas, I find a certain quality of it I can appreciate. Like living in a big city where no one bothers you and gets in your business . Where you can walk around virtually unnoticed. I love it! And I have a lot in common with the Latinas there. We talked and share the same common interests in politics, etc... It is only temporary. Until I can move to California. To be around open minded people.

What are you talking about? Washington DC as a whole (as in both major parties) have colluded to do what you blame only the right for - benefiting only the top 2% of the people, both economically and via gov't policies. I look at Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney, Barrack Obama, John Kasich, and others as if they were part of the same party, regardless of what letter is attached to the back of their name. They protect their own. I have my doubts to whether Trump can accomplish much. However, the election of Trump means the status quo has been kicked to the curb, including simply kicking the can down the road by electing Hillary Clinton. Whether Trump can surprise and bring change as he promises, or whether is just the just the keys to the car that will be driven in 2020, its the direction we needed. And the fact that many folks swear by MSNBC, CNN, NY Times (who apologized yesterday for the way they covered the election) is embarrassing (as it is for conservative folks to who follow FOX as if their word is gospel - I only emphasize the first three media outlets because I get the feeling that I'm posting to a generally liberal audience)... For this term, it's over - the right thing to do is to go out and try to find a legit leader who represents the will of the people, not impose their will on the people

Sad that as more absentee ballots are counted, Hillary is getting even more of the popular vote. Considering that some electoral voters vowed to vote against the popular vote, It's time we ditched the electoral voters. This is the 2nd election, that the popular vote did not match the popular vote. http://www.thewrap.com/electoral-college-donald-trump-fix-disaster/
