Bummer about the Phils. Still might be a good WS.

Well I know you're on the edge of your seat watching the game that's on right now
I was indeed, Rich! Very disappointing... Fingers crossed for Texas!
Yeah - but you're right (Go Texas). There are a few 'feel good' stories in all this, even if this series doesn't involve teams we're fans of

After tonight's performance by the Dallas Cowboys, that area could sure use a lift from the Rangers (I think Tony Romo is out for a few weeks with a broken clavicle)
-
^ I saw Tony talking about his fracture this afternoon. I felt badly for him, he appeared to be quite upset.
-
That wasn't the pitchers' duel that I expected last night.
-
^ Ditto!
-
Rangers bullpen looks a little shaky. :
-
Tonight's game... Hope the Rangers have better luck at home!
-
The odds are good that they will.

Giants all the way!

Giants all the way!
Hi Steve! Glad you could stop by. There aren't many of us baseball nuts here. I was reviewing my MLB Bracket Challenge which I completed before the playoffs started. I had Rangers vs Giants with the Giants winning it in 6 (I earlier misstated that I had the Rangers). Texas is going to have to pick up their game for it to go that long.
-
Congrats to the Rangers, who won their first ever WS game in franchise history

It was great to see this!

Here we go again!
ARLINGTON -- Pardon me if you've heard this one before, but Cliff Lee and Tim Lincecum walk into a ballpark and ... Yes, we have heard that one before, but not on the edge of victory and/or defeat in the World Series. For Game 5 of the 2010 World Series on Monday night, we have the same pitching matchup as in the opener -- Lincecum for the Giants, Lee for the Rangers. With the Giants leading the Series, 3-1, everything is at stake in Game 5. The telecast is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

Congrats to the 2010 World Series Champions San Francisco Giants!

Any team that hasn't won a world series since before I was born is deserving. Now if only the Brewers could do it.
