When I've been to the arena, if you're on the stage looking out, then seat #1 is is on the left. So, from looking at the seating chart, seat #1 in section 1 will be right next to section 112. Hope that helps.
That good news. Thanks Barb (I'm in F3, Row G, Seat #1 so I was worried.)
I keep hearing different things. Does anyone know for sure? Either way, I think you have great seats.

I don't know for sure, but I think the concensus on this thread has been that the seating is right to left on the floor (if facing the stage) and left to right on the floor (if facing the seats). Have you seen something different? This seems to be the way most of the arenas are numbered so I would be surprised if that is not the way it is here.

oh no, I feel sick to my stomach. I have been checking my emails daily and checking timewarner cable website because I knew the venue was going to be having a presale this coming Friday. I have not been on pm.com in a few days and I am not sure what has caused me to NOT check to see if there was a presale here! But I was on maccareport and saw that tix were on sale, so I linked over to it here, and there is nothing left except uppers and two sections in the very back of arena on lower level I have no one to blame but myself for my forgetfulness....life got busy and we had to fork out $500 today because our clothes dryer died a sudden death! Can't believe my luck right now!! So I guess I will log in Friday morning and see what that presale offers, but I am not too optimistic about it. Congrats to all that got great seats thru this site....I am truly happy for everyone! I will keep checking back, maybe something will come up later on, I will probably be going to this one alone, so hopefully I can pick up a decent single seat closer to the show.

Hey everyone! I am new here, but wanted to say hello! I will be at the Charlotte show, saw it by accident when I was pondering buying Nashville tickets. My seats are in F1 row D seats 8 and 9. I am SO excited!
I'm sitting right beside you. Seat #10.
Very Cool! I look forward to meeting you!

CHARLOTTE PEOPLE! We need to get this thread more active!

My friend who is going through chemo treatments will be going to this show! I am so happy and excited for her, she loves Paul. Question, do you guys think it would be weird for her to write a letter to thank Paul for his music and touring and giving it to his security guy Brian? She doesn't want to meet him or anything, just thank him for his music helping her get through the treatments.

No, it would not be weird at all.

For those that live in Charlotte or are more familiar, where's a good bar/restaurant to go before/after the show that's close to the venue?

If you go to Google maps and type in the venue name, you can pull up all restaurants and bars around the arena and see the ratings and reviews. Hope that helps.

great - thanks Barb.

There are also a few resteraunts in the EpiCenter which is really close to the arena.

I think you're right and I have seat 12 in FL3, so it looks like I am on the outside of the section. Anyone ever sit there before? Good view of the stage? I'll be in row 8.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants is the "Soho Bistro" which is very quaint but good. It is near the Bluementhal Performing Arts Centwer and not far from the arena. Rockbottom is another place I like which is a restaurant /bar (all kinds of things like chicken, shrimp, burgers, salad's etc) with its own micro- brewery. Try some of their special beers. For a slice of pizza or a pie, go to "Fuel pizza". Not much on atmosphere but pretty good. Brixx's is another pizza place with numerous speciality pizzas and other food. Hope this helps.

[quote="biggerdave"]For those that live in Charlotte or are more familiar, where's a good bar/restaurant to go before/after the show that's close to the venue? MERTZ is amazing. Walking distance from the venue. It's soul food, if you like that sort of thing. Fuel Pizza in really good. My parents like Aria. I've never been. Blue is nice. A little fancy though. Brixx Pizza is YUM! Anywhere over in the Epicentre is good. BlackFinn is nice. Something more simple is Five Guys. There's a whole slew of things over there.

Another tip for everyone is that certaIn restaurants will validate your parking ticket so your parking will be free. Brixx's does it for 7th St. Station and Soho Bistro does it for the Hearst building parking deck.

Soooo excited and a little late to the party, but here I am!! We are in sec 116 row A seats 8-10!!!!!! I went to Citifield last year, but I wasn't close enough to make a sign...am I still not close enough? How many rows of floor seats are there?
-
Does anyone know if they still offer the parking across from the artist entrance? This is where I usually park when going to the shows at the arena and was wondering if it was still there.
-
I am not sure about that BarbB. I usually park at Dixie's Tavern which is right across the street. The rows are lettered from the front to the back A-Z, then go to the AA...I also asked several people about the chairs on the floor, and every person I asked gave me a different answer. Some of them said that they were numbered from left to right, another right to left, starting with #1 each way. Sorry I could not get a straight answer. ( I tried! ) In the stands the seats are numbered from right to left. We sat in sec. 117 and had a great view. My phone does not take very good pics, so this was the best I could do. http//i26.photobucket.com/albums/c138/alleybeatle/TimeWarnerArena.jpg It is definitely a small arena, and I think everyone is going to have a great view!!!
