Dont understand why Charlotte was the worst crowd. Not in my section. Everyone was having a good time and happy.

Oh, section 2 was totally rocking! Section 3 and the lower level sides near it however..omg..these people sat during Live and Let Die and everything. Did anyone see the nice shot of Paul with his hand down his pants.

PHOTOS ARE UP! Here are some pictures I took. My mom (Dar) took some excellent ones. She should have hers up later. http//www.flickr.com/photos/rockandroll/ Videos later...

In 2008 in Quebec City I don't think he intro'd the band by individual names...and I don't remember him doing it at any of the shows last spring and summer and he didn't do it so far (individual names) so far this year, in the US anyway...just a generic thank you. You'd have to ask him why he doesn't mention them by name!

I missed the photo op! But I think Paul thought he was behind his little colorful keyboard piano and the camera wouldn't see him, and he snuck his hand down the front of his pants all the way in. I laughed so hard.

Worst crowd I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure my friend and I were the front row for a few songs. Plus notes, got waved to and my sign on the big screen.
As I stated earler, my section (204) was up and dancing and having a great time. McCartney made several positive comments about the crowd and he does not say that just to be nice.

I'm glad your section was, the lower levels were terrible. There was maybe only a handful on the left side standing and dancing. Section 2 seemed to be the best section. They kept standing even when half of section 3 would sit, and Paul always talks about how good the crowd is at every show I've been to, even if they are pretty bad.
-
Radiance, your pix are great! I took some too & at sound check -- about 450 to be exact -- but mine still aren't that great. Maybe about 10%. I was in Sec 2, Row 3 RIGHT IN FRONT of Paul (woo-hoo!) and the front row stood the whole time. 2nd row had a few intermittent sitters, but there were two girls in front of me who literally stood through the entire show (as did my husband and I). We rocked it!!!
-
Everyone stood in my section too. (F1). Not sure what everyone's talking about! Everyone around me was very energetic. Oh well... And I saw Paul...he was tucking his shirt in y'all. That's all he was doing. He did it a couple times.
-
Yeah, you could tell his shirt was getting pretty loose in the back. Also debuted a new jacket in Charlotte as well, pin-striped. I'm not saying the show was bad, it was amazing! Just the crowd (from where I was sitting) was the worst I've seen at his shows that I've been to.

OMG I was in the front row of sec 116. The whole section sat!! The people to my left that stood and partied a lot, I was wishing I was over there!! I stood a lot, or I was the 1st one to jump up in the section and my mom kept telling me "you are p*ssing off the ppl behind us" I AM AT A ROCK CONCERT NOT A LIBRARY!!! Loved the guy in the yellow shirt that had gotten the "wave" going a couple of times!! Loved the setlist compared to Citifield. We wore our Citifield t shirts and I must have had about a hundred ppl come up to me and say "YOU WERE AT THE CITI FIELD CONCERT? WOW!!"
-
Also I just wanted to say thanks to NC and Charlotte for the fantastic southern hospitality!!!!! Most everyone is so friendly and laid back!! NY is rude, and everyday is always hustle hustle hustle!! Oh and also for incredible food!! I think I gained 5 lbs while down there!! I'm glad to be home and loved the Queen's City!!!!

You are all going to have a blast!!! BarbB I hope you have better luck then we did in Nashville seeing him arrive in Charlotte!! Enjoy!!!
Why, what happened in Nashville? I wasn't there early enough to wait out and wondered what time he got there, etc. BTW, the "generic" tour shirt says RALEIGH, NC on it instead of CHARLOTTE! I also noticed on the top of the back of the shirt, the signature isn't complete. It's "Paul McCart" and the "ney" of his signature isn't on the back...it's OK on the front though!

He went under a tunnel to get to the arena instead of into the actual arena. So we missed it.

I guess all that matters is that you had a good time and if the others want to stayed glued to their seats that is their problem. McCartney put on a great show and that is all that is important. Also, people like ourselves are really into McCartney and the others may be more casual fans.

I was in row G in section 3 and didnt sit down the entire night!! Everyone is my section was up and rocking from the opening notes of Venus & Mars to "the closing note of "The End". I thought the crowd was great, but like all shows it all depends on those people around you. Where were you sitting???
