Hey I've seen that old guy on the telly deploring Dems. At least he's not both old and dried up like a raisen, is plumpish. The Rev. Al Sharpton's so tiny now, must have resorted to weight reduction surgery. Anyways nobody's outward appearance really matters as you know, audi, it's who they are inside and all that.
It's Karl Rove. And he's Satan's Chief Strategist. And you're right: Al Sharpton -- who I respect now more than ever -- is so tiny now. At one point, I thought that he was ill. I think his duties at MSNBC keep him quite busy these days. Who has time to eat, right?

Everyday I am so grateful for the successful election for so many reasons. One of the major reasons is that now we can seriously begin to address climate change. President Obama, in his presser this week has taken responsibility to place it on his agenda. The republican party of climate deniers has lost much of it's credibility and we can move forward as they can not be as obstructive has they have been in the past. If they continue to try to be obstructive they will be marginalized even more. It's amazing how a US political party can hold the world as hostage on such an important matter as climate change. My apologies to the world for the existence of the US republican party.

Obama's got that proverbial "political clout" in spades right now. Progressives who were frustrated with our President's centrist strategy during his first term will be very pleased with him in the coming months.

There were voting blocks that went beyond race in this election. I think two unrecognized groups where what pushed it in Obama's favor. Rape victims and Incest survivors. (I'm not joking either)

Some bigwig outside the Bengazi hearings on the Hill spoke out for Susan Rice, said the charges and attacks on her by Sen. John McCain and Senator Franklin Graham especially were completely unwarranted and without merit. Obama already told them to lay off her and "come after me." Obama is a special, extraordinary person who has been called a brilliant master of politics by some. I heard on one of the news channel shows last night that Hillary Clinton had tried to have it passed that U.S. foreign embassies would get many millions more for security, but the GOP voted it down. Wouldn't let it pass. So it's rich that they're on the warpath over Bengazi, trying to make this tragedy bigger than Watergate with the onus on the Dems this time. "The right is exploiting this tragedy, making it political," one news hound stated.
-
McCain is clearly still holding a grudge from the '08 election. And to think: No one on the GOP was even a tenth as much concerned about how the Bush Administration dropped the ball during the events leading to 9/11. The intelligence they had was so reliable that the Attorney General at the time, John Ashcroft, was convinced enough to stop taking commercial airline flights many weeks prior.
