Merry Christmas to all! Glad that I've gotten to know some of you better this year. Hope it continues in 2014!

I traced over an outline and colored in this picture with crayons as an 8 year old...right in between the time when the beatles were first getting together at woolton fair...and when they played at hamburg MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Very good! I was 8 when they were on Ed Sullivan's show in NYC Feb. 9, 1964!! I later wrote a "paper" (paragraph) that was a story about a little girl whose Beatles dolls came to life and I got an A on it! (I was 9 in May and very mature for my age!)

Well it's half five in the morning here in the UK. Dinner veggies etc all prepared, Santa's been if the gifts in the Boy's stockings can be trusted in that respect. But mindful that there are vast time differences between us all the quiet and calm here remind me of this poem by Clement C Moore - A Visit From St Nicholas: Click here for Larger readable version I hope this finds you all well. Best wishes to you all. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Martin

I watched them on Ed Sullivan with a schoolmate at his house on a wood cabinet black and white television as an 11 year old. I had first seen them at home on the Jack Paar Show a few weeks earlier and told him about them. His Mom bought him a set of metallic green Ludwig drums that following Christmas and he became part of a popular local band as a guitarist and singer in his following teen years.

Cool story! I took up the guitar at age 9 and learned how to read music & play notes, but really learned to play (chords) at age 13. I still have my acoustic Gibson N-25 (cost a fortune back then--$250)

Happy Winter Solstice!!!
That's more along the lines of MY thinking... The days are slowly (being the operative word) getting longer, and spring is just a little closer each day.

It was / is nice as a Merry Christmas Day I tried to enjoy it all in the moment ... wherever I was was where I should be and that is where I tried to be ... if only for those moments ..... those moments ..... I remember Hopefully all of you found those moments that were for you
