One wonders if Paul is adventurous enough to try this on stage: (skip ahead to 04:12'ish):
LOL! I can't see that happening.. Especially with his history of on-stage falls the past few years ops:

Good point. It's weird: I was AT the St. Louis show, and I didn't see him fall at all. I had to look for it on YouTube when I heard about it.

And Tina Turner did it again on her most recent tour...at age 70!

I didn't see him fall either! I just saw the recovery! Caught up in the moment I suppose!

Could you imagine if the floor of the stage was all LED screen?
Sorta like his Superbowl '05 set?

Didn't the entire US tour have something similiar?
-
Similar. The '05 stage was a clear floor, allowing for multi-color lights, etc. The Superbowl stage had live-action graphics, if I remember correctly. I loved it.

You're correct...that would be very cool but, how well can you see it from the floor? I feel like it would be best appreciated from a tier or on the tour DVD...

I couldn't believe that Tina Turner did that. At her age! ...and in heels!!!

Just hope the new stage gets rid of the "cave" design. that was my biggest complaint about the stadium shows going back to 09 . with the "cave" design, only those with a direct view can see all the stage & band. had great seats close in lower bowl, only to have a partial view of the action.

It was BRUTAL! I watched every second of it.

It's Magenta when it's showtime.

If there is an LED stage, it probably won't be at Bonnaroo. That stage is permanent, meaning it's a concrete slab of a foundation for a stage and steel trussing that stays up 24/7 year round. A lot of logistics for artists at Bonnaroo have to be compromised considering most touring acts store equipment under the stage. http://brownunited.com/brown-united-bleachers-blog/concert-stages-for-bonnaroo-music-arts-festival-2011.html This is what the stage looks like from 51 weeks of the year.
