It's nice to be free from my LOST addiction. Now, I don't get too involved in drama's because they all seem to get cancelled.
I have said something close to this ..... when I tried to watch a few shows .. and enjoyed them .... they got cancelled. Lately I have been watching shows that are two or three seasons behind ... and I start playing catch up ..... without really wanting to fully catch up ... because if I do .... I have to watch it or wait for it to air again ..... This way I can watch and play the next episode if I want to find out what is next by watching what is next that same time frame.

Looking forward to Ringo's animated cameo on the PowerPuff Girls: Fibonacci Sequins, who is the ?most famous flamboyant mathematician? in all of Townsville, the fictional town where the animated show takes place. Starr will also sing a song, ?I Wish I Was A Powerpuff Girl.?

Watching old shows is a great idea, Fool. It's really cool when you discover something great that you never really experienced before. (even though others may have) I didn't get into the Stones until much later in life... like within the last 10? years. - same sort of thing.

I find I don't watch many new shows. If there is something I do like I get the series DVD and enjoy at my own time, and even better...without commercials! I do watch some westerns when I get home from work. I like "Gunsmoke". I was liking "Rawhide" but I think that is off now. I think I saw all "The Rifleman". Only show I seem to catch at night is "Storage Wars". Podgie (snowed in with the tv) Monkey

Merlin was exceptionally good this week. Looking forward to Switched At Birth tomorrow nite.

PodgeTheBear:
Just finished watching the second season of "Game of Thrones". I really like it. It does get a bit confusing at times, especially who's who at times. I get the Lannis's and the Stannis's confused. Now got to wait another year for the next series. Same with Downton Abbey. Podgie (I think it may be time to have a WC Fields film festival on dvd where I am snowed in) Monkey
Love this show! I watch a ton of stuff--I see people have mentioned some I watch like Once Upon A Time and Merlin. I'm also watching Spartacus (last season ) Is The Borgias ever coming back?

Did you see the one they did quite awhile back called The PowerPuff Girls Meet The Beat-Alls?

I wish they would show the follow ups in the same program when the company first appears. That way you could see who was a schmuk &/or how well the company is now doing. Man...they all make some money, huh?

I can take her only in small doses. Her stand-up is a collection of "where-my-gays-at?-where-my-gays-at?" and "oh-my-God-this-story-is-so-cool"... ...and, rarely, are the stories actually cool.

NBC recently brought back one of the few new sitcoms I bother to watch: Whitney (comedian Whitney Cummings). And TV-Land's original sitcoms are all shockingly excellent. They're definitely tailor-made for '90s Gen-Xers like me. The writing is solid on all of them.

I gotta remember to watch American Idol tonight, even though I might have to battle a bit to see it. The girls are on tonight fighting for a top 20 spot or to go through to Hollywood or something. I regularly watch the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful when I get the chance. I know it's silly and trashy ops: ops:

I gave up on American Idol and am not watching it this season. Can't stand Nikki Minaj and the other one (can't even remember her name--great singer but don't really care to hear her talk)

I think Nicki and Keith are fantastic! I didn't know much about Nicki Minaj before the show, but she's A LOT smarter than I would have expected. I watch her really closely, and sometimes rewind to hear exactly what she said. My conclusion: Great advice, fun personality, caring... I'm actually "impressed." And Keith just seems like the nicest guy in the world. Mariah pretty much just sits there and tries not to look uncomfortable, even though you can tell she is.

She drives me crazy... in the good way. SHe has a talk show as well, "Love You, Mean It." (which LITERALLY as I typed this, I see has been cancelled.)
