on sale now!
-
My friend who is in a wheelchair just called and she got her ticket. She always has to buy tickets at the venue.
-
I just checked and there are some floor seats in F9 left and I found a single in section 304, row K.
-
2nd show has been added.

With regard to hotels, there is a new Aloft Hotel tentatively scheduled to open in mid-May. It's not showing up on their website yet, but it's only a block or 2 from the BOK, so keep it in mind. If I get more information about it, I'll post it in this thread.

I found this on the Facebook page of 94.1, the radio station that was giving away tickets this week:
Jason Taylor - HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE McCARTNEY TO SELL OUT? We gave away tickets this week with crazed people calling every time I started playing a song...any song...with the hopes it was McCartney and that they'd be the right caller for tickets. This is obviously huge, even though it's his 2nd appearance at the BOK Center. And tickets go on sale at 10 this morning. Are you gonna try to buy'em? And what's your prediction as to how long it'll take to sell out???

Ticket was in the mailbox today!

Thinking about picking up a nosebleed ticket for the second night and seeing both shows!

Thanks for the great info. Where bars could a couple of guys in their 20s go to take/meet some nice young lady friends before or after the show?
I'll have to do some research on that one. One area that might be what you are looking for is Brookside. This website covers the area. It's about 3 miles south of the BOK. http://brooksidetheplacetobe.com/ Another area that's near downtown is Cherry Street, also known as 15th street between Peoria and Lewis. I's closer to the BOK than Brookside. This links says it lists the hottest bars in Tulsa. Some are downtown, some are in Brookside and some are on Cherry Street. http://voices.yahoo.com/the-top-10-hottest-bars-tulsa-oklahoma-5123625.html
Cherry Street district is a great place for pubs/bars & smaller eating establishments. The Half Moon Cafe is really good. Also, 18th & Boston area (downtown) has some lively bars as well & is a good place to meet college-age & twenty-somethings. I lived in Tulsa for many years & am now, sadly, in OKC. But I know the area well if anyone has questions.

We'll be staying at a hotel that's a five minute walk from the arena. Are these locations either a 10 minute walk or cab drive from the venue would you say?

Cherry Street is nearer to downtown than Brookside. Cherry Street is less than a 10 minute cab ride from the BOK area. One area that I forgot to mention in my earlier post is the Blue Dome District in the downtown area. The Blue Dome District is a 10-15 minute walk from any downtown hotel. http://bluedomedistrict.org/index2.php?act=bizlist&cat=22

http://www.bokcenter.com/news/detail/streets-around-bok-center-renamed-in-honor-of-paul-mccartney So, this is cool! ^^^^^ I'm going to walk over and check out the street signs and buy my ticket for the 30th. One show is not enough to go Out There!

pulling up Sec F2 18th row right now
-
Will consider a ticket trade: My extra 4th row center single on 5/30 for a great floor single on 5/29.

10 days from now!!!!! The Beach Boys were in Tulsa this weekend and I went to see them last night. The band consists of only 2 of the original members, but it was an excellent show and very enjoyable. They even did Good Vibrations, which surprised me. But the ticket price was reasonable and I recommend it if they come to a venue near you. But, as much as I enjoy their music, the emotional impact of one of Paul's shows just wasn't there. I read the critiques of the set lists and people saying his voice isn't what it once was and I realize that's just not not very important to me. It's that emotional tie to his music that I have and that is impossible to define. That's what draws me back to his concerts over and over again. Can't wait for the 29th and 30th!

Glad you had fun at the BB show. I wish I could have seen one of the reunion shows last year. Been trying not to see Paul's setlist for this tour until the Tulsa shows. I guess people will bitch about anything. I can't wait for the 29th and 30th!
