Gimme The Zombies or Gerry And The Pacemakers before the Stones any day.
"Hello, Cleveland!!!...Are you guys ready to soft rock?!!"
Oh boy, you need to be schooled in 60s music very badly
No worries. I totally love The Zombies.
If you think they're soft rock, you avantgard a clue

I love them, actually. However, in context of discussing The Stones, the mentioning of The Zombies threw me off a bit. And, by the way, I see that you're well on your way to earning your degree at the Mastering American Puns and Wordplay Institute.

LOL, I was born in the wrong country, no doubt about it! If you love The Zombies, then I have to show you these: With Colin Blunstone, The Zombies lead singer at the gates of the Jazz Cafe in London last February: https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/306123_3679913122142_1795725324_n.jpg My autographed CDs https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/559415_3679845760458_507861862_n.jpg

Chebzies:
I would like to see Listen To What The an Said make it's way into the setlist. And maybe even something like Eat At Home or Smile Away. They could go down well. Maybe the latter 2 not so much with the casual fan, but still!
I'd warmly welcome all three of them in St. Louis!!!
-
"Smile Away" would be a great addition to the setlist--great idea.
-
Why not "Biker like an icon" and "Your mother should know" he can still sing those tunes.
-
He did "Biker Like An Icon" on the '02 tour... ...cleverly re-titled "Vanilla Sky." "ZING!"
-
Watch that sass boy.
-
I throw out those zingers every now and then for my critics who accuse me of riding the fence too much when it comes to Paul.

Maybe this time Paul will add "Lovely Rita" and "The Back Seat Of My Car".

Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Because that's what would happen if he pulled these out in St. Louis. A great way to go...

It's about time, though, isn't it? Even his band want to do those songs. C'mon, Paul.

Oh, absolutely it's time. However, he's not exactly changed things up in the past 12 years, has he?

Still think its gonna be the usual show in the US/Canada but with an early Beatles number thrown in i.e Twist and Shout/Love me do.

This is my fear. I'd love the addition of "Hope of Deliverance" (as I've posted at least a dozen times in the past two months ), but I'm thinking same old/same old, or at best a song or two from the 2002 or 2005 setlists cycled in.

Would have thought Hope of Deliverance wud stay, similar to the Mexico gigs. Not long til first US show, but won't be getting hopes up!
