I really will be floored if we get one song change from Japan 2013.
I think we may see 2-3 songs change, but not too many off of that. Looking forward to getting a few songs from NEW, and wouldn't mind seeing one or two others pop up. The gf is hoping for just about anything to replace "My Valentine."

I wish Wanderlust, No More Lonely Nights, or Beautiful Night would replace My Valentine.

I only want Beautiful Night if it's closing the show. Yeah I'm picky! But I think Wanderlust would be a fine replacement but really, I wouldn't mind hearing My Valentine one more time! No More Lonely Nights probably wouldn't be a piano song, but that's just my guess.

Yess!!!! I've always imagined Beautiful Night closing the show!!

A couple of years ago, I'd thought of the idea of blending "Beautiful Night" -- which has that nice jam at the end -- with "The End." Great way to close a show.

While you?re reading this words, Venezuela is under the worst and most cruel dictatorship in its history and people is struggling for freedom. The consequences are: food and medicine shortage, repression to peaceful protesters, denial for medical help to wounded protesters, up to 40 deaths to date, among others. Due to the critical situation, we are asking Paul to include ?Freedom? in his setlist during the Latinamerican leg for his Out There Tour. Please join us and help spread the word. Ask Paul to include "Freedom" in his setlist and dedicate it to the people of Venezuela. Thank you. Venezuela asks for FREEDOM:

Freedom For Venezuela: In Twitter: #FreedomForVenezuela #SOSVenezuelaI am rooting for you guys and I can't understand how a fucking ret*rd like Maduro could win the elections. And to think my government is supporting this makes me sick to my stomach. But please, Freedom is a horrible song, let Paul do something else instead. I am with you, man. I hope things get peaceful soon.

Thanks, bro. I don't think "Freedom" is a horrible song. In fact, I think it's a good one with a strong message. The lyrics are very meaningful for us... that's why I think it would be great to hear him sing that song for Venezuela. We need people around the world to be our voice since the government version about the facts is totally fake and, unfortunally, some people seem to beleieve that version. They don`t know what is really happening in our country. If Paul writes something new instead, it would be awesome, but we'll be honoured just to know that Paul included "Freedom" in his setlist and dedicate that song for the people of Venezuela.

Has any setlist rumors began to speculate? I personally believe it'll be the exact same as the Japan shows but who knows...

Being that he played Japan less than 6 months ago, there's a good chance he may alter the setlist a bit...I guess we'll just have to wait until Saturday night.

Anybody thinking with Dodger Stadium revisited and of course closing Candlestick, we might get something from the 66 set? Time to bring back She's a Woman surely, or Baby's In Black would be a real headspin! He did drag out "I'm Down" at Citifield when all the Shea business was going on in 09... Surely with regards Japan he has to tinker with the set: he's been soundchecking some other NEW songs so I think he'll remove a couple from last time in Japan and replace them with a couple of NEW-ER songs. After all, he did make mention that the album went to number 1 there.
-
yea a few new ones is always good,, he plays what he thinks he has to play,, and as other people have said on these subjects,, he will play it safe,, PAUL also plays what he thinks will sound good and work out very well in the concert I have come to the point any song is ok with me,, if you like what he does :

I echo what others have said about hearing Beautiful Night at the end of the show. Don't think it will happen, but it is nice to think about.
-
I had a similar thought about a possible revisit for "She's a Woman"....that would be a nice nod to the era.
-
To play "Baby's in black" is hard like to sing "Oh Darling". The voice's line is too high. I hope that with the release of remastered "Venus and Mars/Wings at the speed of sound" he could play songs like "Warm and Beautiful" "She's my baby" and "Love in song"

http://kroq.cbslocal.com/paul-mccartney-interview/ About the setlist: "The set flows very well, it has a good pacing to it. [..] It just works." "There are a couple of new pieces we are looking at [which] we probably have rehearsed by then [US tour]. [..] There will be a few little surprises". Also, he dropped the name of Ringo himself when being asked about any potential guests for the Californian dates. Great interview anyway, McCartney sounds great.

Maybe Denny Laine will make an appearance and paul can break out the Rick.
