What would rock is GIRLS SCHOOL DAY TRIPPER HI HI HI as the 1st encore.
There is no need to ever bring out Girls School....and I'm kinda over Day Tripper.... how about.... SILLY LOVE SONGS BIRTHDAY HI HI HI
Agreed! It's kind of a boring song live anyways. Hell, my band plays it and I can say I don't care to even play it, no I don't know what Paul thinks : I would like to see "Birthday" again. Surprisingly it has only been done around thirty to forty times live. It's a fun song and I dig Abe's drumming on it Maybe... Eight Days a Week Save Us All My Loving <--- Would love to see "One After 909" here Listen to What the Man Said Let Me Roll It / Foxy Lady My Valentine Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five The Long and Winding Road Maybe, I'm Amazed I've Just Seen a Face We Can Work It Out Another Day And I Love Her Blackbird Here Today New Queenie Eye Lady Madonna All Together Now Everybody Out There Lovely Rita Eleanor Rigby Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! Something Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da Band On the Run Back in the U.S.S.R. Let It Be Live and Let Die Hey Jude Encore 1: Birthday (I wouldn't mind seeing "The Word / All You Need Is Love" again) Hi, Hi, Hi Get Back Encore 2: Yesterday Helter Skelter Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End Other Songs We know we'll see I Saw Her Standing There Things We Said Today Mull of Kintyre (if he plays in Canada, which is likely) Ram On (at least once) Some possibilities are Hope of Deliverance (Latin America) Michelle (Canada) Magical Mystery Tour Jet Junior's Farm I'm Looking Through You On My Way To Work Alligator It's So Easy (I could see this being played if he plays in Lubbock)

Paul is making rehearsals in Los Angeles! My dream is to hear "Another girl", that is also one of favorite of Rusty!
-
I hope I am wrong, but SILLY LOVE SONGS will never get the live treatment ever again. Why? 1) It is sung in a pretty high register, which Paul could not sustain for 3 minutes these days. He did in 1976, and that was the first and last time. 2) SOME fans love it but many think it is fluff, light, and is what helped create the image of Paul being "light" compared to John and even George. It is an image Paul has spent the better part of thirty years trying to change.
-
Maybe I'm just boring....but I really missed JET last year....hope that finds its way back without sacrificing Listen To What The Man Said....
-
Ok, my list might seem tame with the changes, I am making a prediction NOT what I exactly what I'd like it to be, but I don't think he is going to make that many changes from Tokyo in November so I didn't do much changes (I hope there will be some more added!) Magical Mystery Tour (replacing Eight Days A Week) Save Us All My Loving Listen to What the Man Said Let Me Roll It Paperback Writer Early Days (replacing My Valentine) Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five The Long and Winding Road Maybe I'm Amazed I've Just Seen a Face We Can Work It Out Another Day And I Love Her Blackbird Here Today New Queenie Eye Lady Madonna All Together Now Lovely Rita Everybody Out There Eleanor Rigby Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! Something Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da Band on the Run Back in the U.S.S.R. Let It Be Live and Let Die Hey Jude Encore: Day Tripper Birthday (replacing Hi, Hi, Hi) Get Back Encore 2: Yesterday Helter Skelter Golden Slumbers Carry That Weight The End

Good call.

I love Paul, but -- man -- if he opens with "Magical Mystery Tour" again, I will grown hair -- so I can pull it out.

Thank god I wasn't the only one! Haha I always took "Jet" as kind of being an essential song. ---- Also now that I'm thinking more I wish he'd drop "Eleanor Rigby"
-
He needs a new show, folks. Enough of scraping the bottom of the Beatle-barrel.

Heck, even I miss "Jet" now. But, honestly, I'm concerned about his ability to sing it these days. It sounded really rough at the Jimmy Kimmel Live! thing last year.

I think I may have heard someone mention that before.
-
I vaguely recall that, too.
-
I agree but I will never be one who advocates a no beatles set list....and I understand he feels he needs to do the classics for first time concert goers..but there are still many Beatles tunes I would not mind hearing as well as Wings material and some solo stuff..it is his show and he can do it how he wants..it appears something works people still buy the tickets up...

Geez, we should really turn our attention to that, all I hear is how many Wings songs he plays!! C'mon Paul, Silly Love Songs sounded horrible at the Opening Ceremony.
-
This will be the third time for me seeing Paul live. I've said before, I can understand people not wanting a Beatles heavy set list since he has done SO much more in the 40 odd years after The Beatles. I however am just as excited this time as I was the first to hear some of the classic Beatles songs. To be honest I don't care what he plays, but I would miss hearing songs like Get Back, All My Loving, Hey Jude...Etc. That doesn't mean I don't think he should take out others and put in some of his great Wings and Solo songs. It must be tough to try and please everyone, especially when a lot of people are going to see a former "Beatle" you know?
-
The trick is making an audience not even realize that those song weren't done.
-
You know I wouldn't mind seeing a cover song like "Matchbox" get back into the set. Really I would like to see these songs live again or for the first time Another Girl One After 909 Your Mother Should Know (short lived) You Won't See Me She's a Woman The REAL version of "Fixing a Hole" Get Out of My Way On My Way To Work Alligator (I Want To) Come Home If You Wanna Young Boy I'll Get You Love Me Do P.S. I Love You Please Please Me The Word / All You Need Is Love All Things Must Pass Magneto and Titanium Man Venus and Mars / Rock Show / Jet Mother Nature's Son Heart of the Country Till There Was You Hold Me Tight Angry Tug of War / Take It Away (perfect opener) Somebody Who Cares Ballroom Dancing No Values No More Lonely Nights Once Upon a Long Ago (outside of US) Wanderlust Helen Wheels (this one would be a crowd pleaser) Drive My Car / The Word / What You're Doing What You're Doing Martha My Dear (unlikely because he once said that he could never be able to do the piano part the way he wanted again) Vintage Clothes Anyway This Never Happened Before Your Way About You I've Had Enough You Gave Me the Answer Old Siam, Sir Getting Closer Run Devil Run Try Not to Cry What It Is When I'm 64 (EVERYONE SEEMS TO FORGET ABOUT THIS ONE!) Get On the Right Thing Mama's Little Girl The Back Seat of My Car Eat At Home / Smile Away Dear Boy Too Many People / She Came In Through the Bathroom Window Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band / Reprise (replacing "Hey Jude" ) Sun Is Shining Dance 'Til We're High The Fool On the Hill With a Little Luck Goodnight Tonight I Want to Hold Your Hand She Loves You Tell Me What You See Ram On Dress Me Up As a Robber --- We also could see Appreciate & Looking At Her because they were both rehearsed some time last year.

This will be my 12th time seeing Paul. Excited about the regulars.. but looking forward to the NEW songs! Of the NEW album I'd like (and expect) to hear: Save Us - Crowd Pleaser...comparable to Only Mama Knows from a few years ago.. Early Days - REALLY looking forward to this one! I think it's a very fitting song to play as we ARE seeing the aging Paul McCartney.. he's still the same man from before but it would be surreal seeing him reflect back on his life right before our eyes. Queenie Eye - latest single, so I think it will be there. New (Personally, I could go without it to make room for other and better songs, but expect it for obvious reasons) Everybody Out There - Another one I could go without for the sake of making room for others. but I think it's likely.. After all, this IS the Out There tour! I Can Bet - (doubt this one will make the cut, but it's a catchy song!) Turned Out - (also doubtful it will be played..but another catchy tune from the album) As for the songs I've been hoping to hear each tour... Silly Love Songs She Loves You and last but not least..hoping these songs will be resurrected! Letting Go (Bring it back.. this song was smokin!) Fool on the Hill

Still I think he will pull a rabbit out of the hat. It's a new leg, I think the only recent time he made no shake-up by any means after playing a new leg was in those few US gigs in late 2012. Knowing he's going to play some of the exact same cities as the last leg, I really think he won't be putting on the exact same set. The only fireworks I'm expecting is during 'Live And Let Die', and I have no hopes for the exciting songs from 'New' they rehearsed whatsoever, but I can see one or two obvious Beatles-swaps.

I'm expecting this to get pretty much the same treatment as US 2012, all of these have been untouched by the Out There tour or McCartney at all in at least four years, some cases never! I really will be floored if we get one song change from Japan 2013.
