The Chinese news coverage of Castro's death has been very interesting, and very different from American news.

I was away on vacation last week and didn't keep up with the news...did I hear correct that the sequence of events leading to his death started down in Antarctica, where he had to be airlifted back to a hospital here in the states? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Greg Lake dying from Cancer hit me hard, as did Emerson's death earlier this year. Really enjoyed ELP's albums and saw them live 3 times. I'm glad we still have the music they recorded to listen to! I talked to someone today who said they saw Emerson and Lake on their last tour a few years ago, and mentioned she noticed Emerson's hands were crippled so he could not play to his level of proficiency. Still, wish he would have chosen to live instead of killing himself.

That's sad news. He was one politician everyone could respect. At least he lived a full life.

69, on the other hand, is way too young.
