RIP...for all that have passed

French singer Juliette Greco passed away Sept. 23 at age 93. Called "the muse of the existentialists." She dated Paul Mc. back in the day, I think I've read that before. One of his flings. Perhaps I'm wrong about that though (?).

Juliette Gréco was a French actress and cabaret singer." Michelle" by the Beatles was inspired by Gréco and the Parisian Left Bank culture. Paul McCartney said ... Taken from Wikipedia.

I never heard that rumor, although anything is possible with Paul! She was "only" 15 years older than him!

Helen Reddy, 78, died yesterday of Addison's disease. She also had dementia for 5 years.

Just yesterday found out about another of Paul's flings, Julie Felix, who died Mar. 22, 2020 at the age of 81.
-
OMG, and Mac Davis also died at age 78!

Let's face it, death never goes out of fashion.

Sad, he had throat cancer for several years. Can't think of too many better guitarists than him.

"I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW" Johnny Nash dead at 80
He signed The Cowsills to his record label JAD that gave us The Partridge Family (Happy 50th)

Eddie van Halen one really sexy rock guitarist and shredder extraordinare. So sad to hear that we have lost this larger than life, rock guitar giant. What beautiful energy he was

His ex, Valerie Bertinelli was just cooking up some onion rings on Rachel Ray's show & mentioned their son Wolfie. It was either the same day or the day before he died.

That was a very caring story. The greatest gift you can offer someone is to be with them in spirit during their crossing. It made me cry. Thanks for sharing that Oobu.

You're welcome.

God what a ghastly year for music. So many greats gone less than 10 months. Just stop already.

I agree “just stop already” I cringe every time I see this thread come up. I have additional worries that Covid was involved and didn’t have to happen. Very sad
