Nope, you were quoting me, not Bruce.

Tired of beating a dead horse, if you will scroll down you will see I quoted Bruceâs post and answered him, not you. I know this new forum is weird, but I know who I quoted and answered. 17 hours ago.

If you click on the gray box, you can see I was answering you because you quoted me.
This is not important anyway. -
I know you answered both of us. Let's just drop it already.

This is not important anyway.I posted to you an answer and then I posted a separate answer to Bruce. When you said âBruce just said thatâ I had already posted to you and Bruce had not even posted yet, hence all the confusion!

Can I just say I do not like this âupgradedâ forum? There are too many instances of not being sure who is being spoken to and when.
We never had these kinds of miscommunications on the old board!
Sorry, rant over. -
LISA MARIE PRESLEY HAS DIED AT AGE 54!!!!

Paul wrote 5 separate posts on Twitter about Jeff Beck! He really knew him well.

Sorry, rant over.@njr You are correct! I certainly didn't mean to start a fight with my prior post, but the formatting of these boards is not good. As I said when this latest redesign debuted, I think Paul should fire his whole website team.
FYI, in my first attempt to post this (which I quickly deleted), I discovered a major cause for confusion: If you are looking at a post and click "reply," it doesn't quote the post you're responding to, but puts your reply right after the latest post by the person you're responding to -- so it looks like you're answering something completely different than what you're actually responding to. That's just terrible web design.

I have to say I was definitely all shook up when I read that.

Exactly! You have to hit Quote if you want to be positive there are no misunderstandings about who/what you are responding to. And if two people post within several or many minutes of each other, one post is seen first and the other may not show up for awhile, but later it says each of the posts were posted, for example, â18 hours ago.â

I said the same thing a few days ago . In any other forum, you see a comment, hit the reply button, to reply, and Bob's your uncle ( as we say here in the UK. Its ok I don't know what that says means also) Fir some reason, in this forum, there is a "quote" button too. I have never even seen a quote button before

I am in a Hugh Jackman forum and we have a quote button. But you can also just reply but you need to give it some context so everyone knows what youâre talking about. If you have brand new news, you also just post it.
