This is so sad. She literally rescued Brian. If you don't know the story, the film "Love and Mercy" from 2014 tells it beautifully. I hope he can make it without her.

I’m amazed she lived that long after her diagnosis. My mom started out with mild dementia in 2018 and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in June 2023. She passed away at age 93 on Dec. 14, 2023.

@bruce-m Serious question: Are there people who actually think Pop Tarts are good?
My kids used to eat them when they were young, but I never liked them.
Even as kid I didn't much like them -- perhaps because my mom frequently bought good sweet rolls from an actual bakery, and the comparison was not favorable to Pop Tarts.

Rip, John Duff Lowe. In the late 1950s, he played piano for the Quarrymen, including In Spite of All the Danger - the band's first record!

@andrewmbarros I just heard about his passing. He was the one that kept that record for decades and Paul ended up buying it from him!
He was 81. Born Apr. 13, 1942 and passed today, the 22nd.
Sad to say the next to go will be Len Garry - he’s in ill health.
